Sympathy Card - PPPR Design Team Day

Happy Wednesday my fellow bloggers!!  I hope your week is going well.  We just got back a few days ago from a fabulous vacation in Maui and I feel like I am still playing "catch-up" with my life.  I am hoping to get some time to "play" in the next couple of days because I can feel myself going through "withdrawals", LOL!!  Today I have a card to share with you that I made for my husband's aunt and cousins.  Sadly, we lost my husband's uncle to a battle with cancer.  I used Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Flower Assortment" cutting files set to create my card.  I made this a 5x7 sized card so I was able to make my flowers and vase a nice size.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps' "Heartfelt Wishes" set.

Thanks for stopping by today - don't forget to head over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG to see the rest of the design team's projects.

Cardz TV Stamps "Back to School" challenge

Welcome back to another Cardz TV Stamps' challenge.  This time our theme is "Back to School".  Our schools don't begin until after Labor Day but I know some schools start earlier.  I made a card with my oldest daughter in mind as she will be starting her first year of college at the University of Oregon.  Big changes can be scary but I know she will do great!

I pulled out my cricut and used Hello Kitty Greetings for the apple/book set.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' "Simply Said" set.  Don't forget to link up your projects over at Mary's BLOG.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Set of Notecards - 3GJ "Anything Goes w/Ribbon" challenge

Happy Monday my fellow bloggers!!  The newest challenge theme over at 3 Girl JAM Challenges is "Anything Goes w/Ribbon".  Since our additional sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps, I decided to use one of their freebie images for my project.  I made a set of two matching cards using different sentiments.  I used "Coral Crush" from the 3Girl JAM Carribean Splash bundle for both the bows on my cards. I used my Bic Mark Its to color my images and both of my sentiments are from an old stamp set from D.O.T.S   Thanks for stopping by today, I look forward to seeing your projects for the current challenge!!

"Celebrate With a Blast" - PPPR design team day

Happy July 3rd to all of you!!  I am sure you are in the 4th of July spirit by now and my project is designed with that theme in mind.  I wanted to do a scrapbook layout for last year's 4th of July pictures for my Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team project.  I needed to scrap the pictures I already have before I take more this year.  Since I am one of those scrapbookers who has a hard time not using a ton of pictures on my pages, I decided to try a "waterfall" on my layout in order to hold more pictures.  All of my cut files are from the PPPR's "Fantastic Fireworks" cutting files   I did add a shadow behind my "explosion" in order to make it stand out more from the designer paper.  I gave my layout some bling with gold stickles and added some cherry twine to my banner.  The cute designer paper is all from Doodlebug.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check out the rest of the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' design team projects HERE.  The PPPR "Get Well" challenge is still going on and there is still a great freebie in the store that you could use to enter the challenge.
