"You Mocha Me Happy" - PPPR DT

Happy Wednesday everyone!!  I have a card to share with you today for my Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' design team post.  I made this specifically as a thank you for a friend that kindly brought me coffee (Starbucks!!) and breakfast while I sat in the hospital with my husband who was admitted for some serious complications from a surgery.  He is fine now so I don't want to leave you worrying :-)  but you understand better why I chose the files I did for my "thank you" card.

files used ~

The designer paper and the twine were just some scraps I had in my stash.  I used my white gel pen to add some faux stitching around the edge of the card.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' "Brew Ha Ha" set.  Thanks for stopping by today!!  Make sure you stop by the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG to see the rest of the design team's projects - lots of great inspiration for you!!  There is still time to enter the PPPR Monthly Challenge which ends March 1st.  The theme this month is "anything goes" - for more details head HERE.

Thank You Card with "Flair"

Happy Tuesday folks!! Today with a "thank you" card I made and embellished with some 3 Girl JAM flair and jute.

I used a flair button from the 3 Girl JAM "Thank You Flair" set.  I made a cute bow using the Moss Jute String from the 3 Girl JAM "Jute Ribbon and String Pack".  I have really enjoyed working with the 3GJ flair buttons. I made two other cards using more of the Thank You Flair set and you can see those HERE.  I used some glossy accents to brighten up the centers of my pink and lavender flowers and also used the glossy accents to adhere the flair button and bow to my card.  This cute card is a file from Designs on Cloud 9 - it is this week's free file so pick it up while you can.  It was a sweet and easy card to make.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

T.G.I.F.!!  and time for another Cardz TV Stamps 3d challenge and this time the theme is "Birthday".  Here is my project -

For my cake slice I used a file from the SVG Attic "Make a Wish" collection.  My sentiments are from Cardz TV Stamps' "Make a Wish" set.

I embossed the top layer of my cake slice to make it look more like chocolate frosting and then added lace trim and pearls to continue the frosted look.  Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to visit Cardz TV blog to see the rest of the design team's projects and to link up your project for a chance to win a set of Mary's stamps.

Heart Shaped Box - 3GJ DT post

Today I have a fun project to share with you that I made for Valentine's Day.  I made heart shaped boxes for all 3 of my daughters and had fun decorating them with some 3 Girl JAM ribbon.  Here is one of my boxes where I made a flower using some of the new 3 Girl JAM "light and bright" lace and a vintage button.

Here is a closeup of another flower I made using some of the 3GJ "Distressed" lace3GJ Vintage button and some Aqua Splash crinkle ribbon.  This time I glued the ribbon in the same manner as I did the lace in the previous flower but I only glued one layer of lace on this flower.

To create my lace flower I used my hot glue gun and glued the lace to a circle I cut out by hand. I started at the perimeter of the circle and worked my way inward and then glued a 3GJ vintage button in the center.

Don't forget to use my special promo code to get 10% off all of your supplies from the 3 Girl JAM store.  Just use the code - NE10

Other supplies used ~
designer paper - an older Valentine's Day paper pad from K and Company
