Kitty Birthday Tag - JB dt

Happy Monday my crafty friends!!  Today is my turn to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog.

I created this tag for a birthday gift for a family member who loves cats.  

I knew I would be giving cash for the birthday gift so the "Pocket Tag Die" 

was the perfect choice!!

I colored the cats to look like my son-in-law's cat.  I used two of the cat images from "Mew Did It".  The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and I stamped it onto

 a banner from "Mini Tag Dies 3".

Here is my project for today -

I thought it would be fun to create an envelope to go with my card from yesterday. 

I used the new "Random Envelope Stencil" and old paper distress ink.  I used a heavier hand with the ink on the left side of the envelope and went lighter as it progressed towards the right.  I stamped an image from the "Happy Mail" stamp set and colored it in to coordinate with yesterday's card colors.  I also used a few additional sentiments from the same stamp set and hand drew the lines in for the addresses.  The postage stamp in the corner is from "Kawaii Mail".

Here is my project for today -

To create my card I used the "Postage"dies along with the "Rectangle 1" dies to create the dark blue frame.  I also folded some heavier weight white cardstock in half and ran it through my Big Shot using the "Postage" dies but didn't bring my cutting plates quite to the top of the die so that it created my card base.  I colored in a few images from "Kawaii Mail" and fussy cut them out and then added some enamel hearts to the envelopes to tie it in with my pattern paper.  I stamped a sentiment from "Funny Mail 2 (revamp)" onto a banner from the "Mini Tags 3" dies.  Lastly I cut out the word hello in red and black cardstock using the "Word" dies and layered them slighlty offset.

Here is my project for today -

I created a shaker card using the new "Mailbox Die".  I die cut the base of my card using the Mailbox Die and cut out an extra layer for the shaker portion.  To get the window for the shaker I also used a die from the "Card Mat Dies".  I used the new "Random Envelope Stencil" and several distress oxide inks in various blues and greens to create the background for my shaker portion.  I also cut out a bunch of miniature envelopes using the "Envelope Dies".   The sentiment is from the new "Postal" stamp set and is embossed with white embossing powder.  I used the "Gable Box Dies" to cut out a white mat for the inside of the card so I could write a quick message.

For today's project I created a wine tag.  I colored in the image from "Peter - served for you" and chose the wine bottle and glass option for him to hold.  I used the coordinating outline dies to cut everything out.  I also used the "For You Circle Die" and cut out some black cardstock to layer behind Peter.  He is serving up a fine dry rose as that is my favorite!!  The background paper is from the Stamp Anniething "Love is in the Air" paper pad.  

The wine tag die is from Jaded Blossom.

I kept today's card more simple.  I colored in "Andrew - take care" with my Copic markers and used the coordinating outline die to cut him out.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  The enamel dots are left over from one of my Grab and Go Boxes and the smaller rectangle of pattern paper was cut out using the Stamp Anniething "Shaker Basics set 1" die set.

I created the background with some distress oxide ink and the new "Funky Diamond Stencil".  I also used the new "For You Circle Die" and cut out some dark blue shimmer paper.  The sentiment is from the "Eleni - shear magic" stamp set and I used the "Banner Dies" to cut it out.  I used both the image and the coordinating outline die of "Eleni - shear magic" and colored the image with my Copic markers.
