Birdhouses definitely remind me of spring.  This cute little box is from the Silhouette online store id #27498.  I used the lemon-lime ribbon for this and added some flowers and a ladybug sticker.

Weddings remind me of spring and I have two of them to attend in May so I am busy making cards for them and for the bridal showers too.  The cake is another file from the Silhouette online store id #56276.  I embossed the cake with my cuttlebug and added some gray liquid pearls to the swirls.  The new grey gray ribbon worked beautifully with this card!!

"Happy Bird-day" - PPPR dt post

Today is design team day for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' team and I have a birthday card to share with you that I made for my youngest daughter's friend.  I just love how cute this bird is and loved getting to use him on my card!!

Card Recipe ~

To create my card base, I used a cut file from the PPPR "Layered Labels 3" set and welded two together.  I did an offset of the inside square to add the pink paper beneath the patterned paper.  Make sure to stop by the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG to see inspiration from the rest of the design team.  I have the privilege of working with some very creative ladies so you won't be disappointed!!  Also, this Saturday, March 29th PPPR and My Craft Spot are doing a combined blog hop showcasing products from both companies.  There will be some great blog candy as well as crafty inspiration so you don't want to miss out!!

CTVS "3d Baby" challenge

T.G.I.F.!!  It is also the 2nd day of spring break for my kids as then end of the trimester was yesterday and today is a grading day.  We are having some beautiful spring weather here and the daffodils, hyacinths and primroses are just beautiful.  I am back with another 3d challenge with Cardz TV Stamps 3d design team and this time the theme is "Baby".  Here is my project for the challenge -

I used a baby bottle card cut file from the silhouette online store for the outside pieces of my box.  I created a shadow lear for each side of the box.  The box itself I made by hand following the directions found here.  Then I just glued it all together and voila!!  a baby bottle box!!

My sentiment is from the CTVS "FAQ's" stamp set.  I love this sentiment with baby projects.  Last year I made a card and used the same sentiment for a different CTVS design team project.

All of my patterned paper is from a K & Co. baby stack and the cardstock is Recollections.  My bow is 3 Girl JAM "Baby Girl" from the Baby Bundle.

Now it's your turn - create a 3d baby-themed project and link it up at Cardz TV blog.  While you are there check out the rest of the team's projects for some inspiration.

PPPR "Just for Kids" blog hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Just for Kids" blog hop.  You should have arrived here from Nanne's blog.  If you missed the start of the hop, you will want to head over to Lisa's blog.  Today, the design team is showcasing projects just for kids using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files.

Here is my project -

Master Builder Cutting Files
I labeled a storage bin for some of my youngest daughter's lego sets.  I used some Square 1 Masterpiece printable adhesive fabric and the new "Master Builder" cutting files set from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I ungrouped the lego girl and changed the colors per my daughter's request.  I set only the outside edge to cut and then did a print and cut with my printer and Silhouette Cameo.  I used a font called "Legothick" for the word.  Here is what it looked like after I printed it (there is a bit of a sneak peak of a future project here too).

I have some blog candy for you today that I am also offering as part of another blog hop that I am in today.

To be eligible to win all you have to do is be a follower of my blog and leave me a comment.  I will pick the winner Monday morning.  U.S. addresses only please.

Happy Saturday folks and welcome to the Cardz TV Stamps "Sugar Rush" blog hop.  You should have arrived here from Kimberly's blog.  If you missed the beginning of the hop, you will want to head over to Mary's blog.  Today the CTVS 3d design team is showcasing projects using the new "Sugar Rush" stamp set.  Here is mine -

I still needed to make some St. Patrick's day treats for my 3 girls and this is what I came up with.  I used a file from the Silhouette store ( #38526 ).  It had a heart window but I substituted a circle for that.  I was able to use several sentiments from the Sugar Rush set for this project.  As you can see this set is very versatile and can be used for so many occasions.  My shamrock is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I used a Peachy Keen face stamp on them.

My First Project Life Page - PPPR DT

Happy Wednesday folks and thanks for stopping by today.  Today is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I have a Project Life layout to share with you.  This is my first ever pocket type layout and I was inspired to try this format of scrapbooking by several of my design team sisters.  I didn't get a lot of pictures from my daughter's birthday party this past August (yes I am behind in scrapbooking, aren't we all?) but I wanted to use all of them to tell the story of her unusual birthday party so the pocket style format was perfect.

I used Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Make a Wish" cutting files set to create my journaling cards.  I cut an extra flame for the Make a Wish card and popped it up on some foam tape to add some dimension to my card.  For the candle card I used the 5 candle file and cut two of the candles off in my silhouette studio software so that it would fit better on a 3x4 card.  To see the rest of the design team's projects please visit the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG.

This weekend the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' design team is having a "Just for Kids' blog hop.  Be sure to stop by Saturday to see more inspiration from the team using PPPR files as well as a special freebie for the hop.  This will also be the beginning of the next monthly challenge for PPPR and we would love to see your creations!!

3GJ new Lemongrass bundle

Thanks for stopping by today, I want to share with you a tag and cup I made/decorated for one of my daughter's friends birthday.  I was able to use the newest crinkle ribbon colors from 3 Girl JAM - the Lemongrass bundle.

I used the "Grey Gray" ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Lemongrass" bundle on the tag I made for the gift bag.  The tennis theme is because my daughter's friend loves to play.  The tag is from the Silhouette store design #53084.  The tennis ball (item 42732) and racket (item 1375) are also from the silhouette store.

I tied some of the Lemon-Lime ribbon  from the 3 Girl JAM "Lemongrass" bundle around the acrylic tumbler I decorated with vinyl for the birthday girl.

CTVS challenge - 3d St. Patrick's Day

T.G.I.F.!!  and time for another 3d challenge with the Cardz TV Stamps design team.  This time the theme is "St. Patrick's Day".  I created a shamrock shaped box that is big enough to hold some yummy chocolates inside for somebody "lucky" on St. Patty's Day!!

I used a sentiment from the Cardz TV Stamps' "It's All About You" set. My box is from the Silhouette store and is the "3d clover box" or item 39981.

To link up your 3d St. Patrick's Day project and to see the rest of the CTVS design team's projects for some inspiration, please visit the Cardz TV blog.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Remember you have 2 weeks to enter into this challenge and be eligible to win a set of Cardz TV Stamps.
