Magnetic/dry erase boards for gifts

I have made over a hand full of these as gifts.  They are super easy and rather economical and seem to work well as a gift idea for the average teenage girl:-)  The paper can always be replaced with a different one so that the frames can be reused.  Underneath the paper is a piece of metal to make it magnetic.  I take the easy way out and just adhere coordinating stickers to my magnets.  I then cut the recipients name out of vinyl in a color that coordinates and add that onto the glass.

  29. I'm glad you gave detail on this project. I was wondering how to make the dry erase part work. I have the metal sheet and covered it with paper, but didn't know what to put over the top so that I could use the dry erase markers. Momo sent me and I'm now a follower.
