I used the CDD "Fancy Frames" dies for my background layers.  My image and sentiment are from the "Panda Pals"  stamp set and I cut him out using the coordinating "Panda Pals Dies".  The balloon/bow/string are from the new "Party Dies".

Here's what I've created for you...

I created a card using the new "Got Coffee" stamp set and it's coordinating SVG files. I absolutely LOVE this stamp set!! I used 2 of the same images but added faces to them from the "Totally Turtle" stamp set to give them some personality.   I found this perfect background paper from Pebbles.  The sentiment and the coffee steam are also from the same stamp set. I popped up the coffee cups on foam tape.   Here is a closer look -

CDD Day 2 "August Stamp Release" sneak peeks

Today is Day 2 of the Craftin Desert Divas' "August Stamp Release" sneak peeks.  Today the design team is showcasing a new stamp set called "Got Coffee".  I was so excited when Tara created this set - I love coffee and anything to do with coffee!!  For today's sneak peek I have created a card.  

I created my background with some "Tea Dyed" distress ink and then used the same ink to stamp on the coffee splatter stains using the coffee splatter stamp from the "Got Coffee" stamp set.  The sentiment is also from the new stamp set as well as the coffee cup.  I used the CDD "Banner Dies" for the oval and the CDD "Fancy Frames" dies for all of my other background layers.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color my image and added a bit of glossy accents to the coffee.

"Just for You" tags - PPPR dt

Hello!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I have a fun project to share with you today :-)  I created a set of tags for my oldest daughter.  She is going to use these to decorate some gift bags she is giving to friends and family - inside the bag is a special card and gift asking them to be in her wedding - so this is the first craft I have made for her wedding!!  I created the tags using her wedding colors - navy and pink.

I created a set of 7 of these tags using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Layered Tags  1" cutting files.  The flower is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Flower Assortment" cutting files.  I cut two flowers for each tag and used some foam tap to create some dimension.  I added a white enamel dot to the center of each flower and finished off the tags with some navy twine.

"Sweet Wishes" - CDD Linky Party

Here is my project for the linky party -

I cute 4 different colors of cardstock with the stitched square from the CDD "Fancy Frames" die set.  Then I cut each one approx 21/8" and pieced them together to create my background.  I heat embossed the cupcake in white from the CDD "Sweet Wishes" stamp set randomly over my background.  My image and sentiment is also from the "Sweet Wishes" stamp set and I used the "Fancy Frames" die set to cut out the rest of the layers on my card too.  I am loving this new die set!!

Die Cuttin Divas' Guest Designer - Nautical

Hello there!! Today I have the privilege of being the guest designer for this week's new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas.  The theme for this challenge is "Nautical".  

Here is what I made -

I used a file from the Silhouette online store I.D. #83869 for my card base and layers.  My design paper is from Doodlebug's 6x6 "Patriotic Picnic" paper pad.  I also used a sentiment and tag stamp from Craftin Desert Divas' "Short and Sweet" stamp set along with its coordinating SVG set

Howdy Buckaroo!! - PPPR dt

Hello!! Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and  I have a fun little card to share with you that I made using one of the newer PPPR files - "Cowboy Cactus" cutting files.

I had the perfect paper in my stash along with the burlap which I had never used since I purchased it.  I also used the PPPR "Speech Bubbles" cutting files for my sentiment.  My sentiment is from a Cardz TV Stamps' set called "Country at Heart".   I think this makes a fun masculine card, which I never seem to have enough of!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Friends Fur-ever - CDD dt

Hello there, today is my turn to post on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG - did you enjoy seeing all of the creative inspiration over the past few days as the CDD design team revealed the new stamps and dies for the Mini Release??  I have a project today using one of the new release items - the "Fancy Frames" dies.  I love having these dies because they make layering a card easy yet give the card a more elegant look than if I just used plain paper.

So, along with the "Fancy Frames" dies (which I used for my green scalloped rectangle) I also used the  "Banner Dies"  (for the pink banner as well as the stitched oval) and the "Panda Pals" stamp set along with the coordinating "Panda Pals" die set.  My sentiment and the paw print came from the "Animal Antics" stamp set.   I punched a couple of holes in the banner and ran my twine through those.  I popped my banner layer up on foam tape as well as the oval.  I added a bit of glossy accents to the eyes and the nose of the panda and used my Wink of Stella pen to add some sheen to the panda's hair bow.
