PPPR "April Inspiration" blog hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "April Inspiration" blog hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting the lovely Nanne.

There is a special freebie files available for free only today and tomorrow (after that it can be purchased in the PPPR store).  The link to the freebie is on Lisa's blog.

Today's blog hop theme is  "April Inspiration" and the design team is doing something new this month with our blog hop.  There is no specific theme, rather we are creating projects using any PPPR products we would like to inspire you.  I hope you find inspiration in our blog hop today.  Here is the card I made for the hop -

I tend to do "cutesy" type cards so I wanted to push myself out of my normal creative realm and try something with a bit more of a vintage feel.  I used the PPPR "Sewing Cutting Files" to cut out this sweet little sewing machine.

All of my papers are things I have had in my stash for awhile.  I am trying to be better at using what I have!!  Anyone else relate?? :-) I had the perfect sentiment to use on my card from a Cardz TV Stamps stamp set called "Sew Much Fun".  I used some ribbon, twine, buttons and stick pin from my stash and hot glued them together.

To create my cards I used the following PPPR files -

***There is blog candy for our hop today*** -

The blog candy for this hop is a $15 GC to the PPPR store. Anyone who comments will be entered to win the GC. A random winner will be chosen for the prize sometime during the week after the hop.

Today also begins a new challenge with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons -
We are now doing a "Linky" party instead of a specific themed challenge.   All you need to do is
link up any PPPR projects during the dates on the ad image for a chance to win a $15 Gift Certificate to the PPPR store.  For more details on the rules of the challenge as well as to link up your entry, please go HERE.  One lucky entry will be randomly selected to win a $20 gift certificate to the PPPR store.

Now it's time to go visit the lovely Sarah.
