Birthday Card - PPPR Design Team day

My middle daughter is turning 16 tomorrow and I wanted to create a special birthday card for her.  I used digital paper for my background papers.  I just love the wood grain digital paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Man Oh Man Pattern Pack 1" digital paper set.  The pretty burgandy polka dot paper from PPPR's "Christmas Brights Circles and Spots" digital paper set is a good compliment to the wood grain paper.  My flower and stems are cut from PPPR's "Flower Assortment" cutting files set.  I also used PPPR's "Sentiment Spots 2" cutting files set for my sentiment.

PPPR "Back to School" blog hop

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Back to School" blog hop where the design team will be featuring back to school projects utilizing PPPR products.  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting the lovely Melisa's blog.  If you did not start at the beginning of the blog hop, then you can go HERE to start at the very top.  For my project, I decided to do a scrapbook layout.  I am behind on my scrapbooking (aren't we all??) so I used this as an opportunity to catch up on some back to school pictures.

I used the "Back 2 School" cutting files for my title and backpack and the "Borders 2" cutting files for my scallop border.  I also decided to use up some old stuff in my stash and pulled out alphabet stickers for my title :-)  My background papers are from a Recollections "Seasons" paper pad.

Lisa is offering some blog candy for our hop today -

For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog and leave a comment on each blog. Cardz TV Stamps' "Color Pop" Challenge

Welcome back to another Cardz TV Stamps challenge!!  This week it is the "Go-to Galz" turn to participate in the challenge.  If you haven't heard yet, Mary has divided the design team into 2 smaller teams.  This means there is a new challenge weekly (but you still have 2 weeks to participate in each one) and each team alternates between the challenges.  This week's challenge is "Color Pop" - Create a card, Layout or craft using only Black, White and a "Pop" of Yellow.

I used an older sketch from Mojo Monday to inspire my card and two different Cardz TV Stamps sets for my sentiments -

Now it's your turn - head over to the Cardz TV BLOG to see the rest of the design team's projects and to link your project up to the challenge!!  Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!!

Have a "Beary" Happy Birthday!

Happy Monday everybody!!I hope everybody had a great weekend!!   It is my design team post for 3 Girl JAM today.   I have a cute birthday card to share with you that I embellished with some fabulous 3Girl JAM "Summer Sprinkles" crinkle ribbon which is a part of the "Seasons Bundle" which has been revamped and will be available for purchase soon.  I just love these variegated ribbons that Julie has made - they are gorgeous!  I added a 3GJ vintage button to my bow and just love how all these colors work beautifully together.

My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' "Beary Sweet" set.  My image is from the Silhouette store and can be found here.

PPPR Design Team Day - Maui Layout

Happy "middle of the week" to you my fellow bloggers!  I have a scrapbook layout to share with you for my Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' design team post.  For my layout I used PPPR's "Scalloped Circles" cutting files and  the "Rain or Shine" cutting files set.  The picture is from our last day of vacation in Hawaii (Maui) - we all look so relaxed, don't we?!

I did some inking around the edges of my cuts and added some stickles to the edges of my clouds.  My design paper is from and old Rob and Bob paper pad that I have had for far too long except for the cloud paper which is from a Recollections paper pad.  My emblellishments are from Kand Co.

Don't forget to grab this week's freebie at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and check out the PPPR BLOG to see the rest of the design team's projects!

CTVS - "Seeing Red" challenge

Time for another Cardz TV Stamps challenge and this time the theme is "Seeing Red ~ Create a card, layout or craft using red as the main color".  I chose to create a card for my project and thinking about the color of red made me think of strawberries so I decided to make one my focal point on my card.

My sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps' "Garden Greetings" set.  My strawberry is from Paper Piecings by Nikki.  My background paper is from Doodlebug's "Sweet Cakes" 6x6 paper pad.  I did a little inking and doodling, added a button, green memory thread and maraschino twine from The Twinery to complete the card.  You can link your project up to the challenge as well as see the rest of the design team's projects over at the Cardz TV BLOG.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

You're Tea-riffic - 3GJ design team

Happy Monday my fellow bloggers!  I am here today with a card I made using the "latte" crinkle ribbon from the 3GJ "coffee bundle".    I also added a 3GJ vintage button and tied some brown  twine through it.

My teacups are from Miss Kate Cuttables and my sentiment comes from the Cardz TV Stamps' set "Brew Ha Ha".  I added a doily from my stash and blinged up my flowers using my I-rock.  All of my patterned paper is from Studio G.   My card fits with the current 3 Girl JAM challenge "Kraft and Ribbon" so I will definitely be linking it up!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!
