day 2 cardz tv stamps design team challenge

Happy Saturday my fellow bloggers!!  I wanted to share another card that I made using the "for the birds" Cardz TV stamp set.  I found this cute Echo Park bird file in the Silhouette Store.  I wanted to try a more layered look for the background of my card as I have been seeing this done a lot lately and thought it was cute.  The background paper is from a $1 paper pack that I bought awhile ago from Target.  All cardstock is Recollections as well as the cute ladybug sticker.  Don't forget to link your project up for the "Anything Goes" challenge - you may be the lucky winner of a set of Cardz TV stamps!!

***for Cardz TV stamps design team challenge post scroll down***

This week the theme for the challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge blog is sports/hobbies.  I love a lot of different sports and hobbies but I found this cute Echo Park bicycle file in the silhouette store and knew I had to use it!!  My paper is from My Mind's Eye "Stella Rose" 6x6 pad.  The crinkle ribbon is homemade and the sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps.  I added some texture to the basket, brads to the wheels and some self adhesive pearls.

The prize for this challenge is sponsored by Squigglefly - digital stamps.  One lucky winner will get 3 items from the store!!  Remember to link your project up at Pause Dream Enjoy challenge blog and that lucky winner just might be you!!

Cardz TV Challenge "Anything Goes"

Happy Friday my fellow bloggers!!  We are heading off to a camping trip today - to the Oregon Coast.  I have a few projects to share with you while I am away.  The first project is for the Cardz TV Deign Team challenge "Anything Goes".  This is our first time showcasing the new design team.  I decided to make a birthday card for my niece.

My little owl is from the Create A Critter cartridge and he is on an Action Wobble.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamp set "for the birds" and the flowers are some primas I had in my stash.  My twine is from the twinery and is woven through a button from Michaels.  The background paper is from a $1 package I purchased sometime ago from Target.

Remember we want you to join in on our challenge so head on over to Cardz TV and link up a project!!  You will also be able to see the rest of the design team's projects.  Mary will be giving away a stamp set.  The challenge is open until the following Thursday, August 2nd at midnite EST.

PDE challenge #29 "Sweet Summer Treats"

TGIF!!  Actually I wish my weeks didn't fly by so fast but here we are again and it is Friday once more!!  It is time for another challenge at the Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge Blog and this time the challenge is "Sweet Summer Treats".  I chose to make a card using the berry image from the Preserves Cricut Cartridge.  This card is made especially for my husband's aunt who invited us to come pick marionberries at her house last Saturday.  I picked so many that it filled 3 freezer bags full and these were free berries!!  The sentiment is from Cardz TV stamp set "Garden Greetings".  I encourage you to join us in this challenge as this week our sponsor is Ginger Snap Scraps.  For more information and to enter the challenge as well as to see the rest of the design team's projects head over to the Pause Dream Enjoy challenge blog.

Quilled Card

Happy Monday my fellow bloggers!  I hope you had a great weekend and that your week is off to a good start.  I wanted to share with you a card I made with my first attempt at quilling.  It was quite fun to roll these little pieces of paper and try to create something with them.  I have checked out a few books from the local library as well as watched a few tutorials on youtube to try to learn this new skill.  Thanks for stopping by and would love to get feedback from any of you who have tried quilling before!

Happy Friday everybody!!  It is time for another challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy challenge blog.  This week's theme - "It's a jungle".  Feel free to make any type of project with a jungle theme and play along with the design team - there is even a prize.  For more information about the challenge and to enter in it click here.

Here is my take on the challenge -

I created this cute birthday card for our dear neighbor who turned 8 this past Sunday.  He is such a goof ball so this card was perfect for him.  Both my sentiments are stamped with Cardz TV stamps.  The palm tree, leaves, monkey and vine are from Create A Critter and the grass is from Gypsy Wanderings.

Cardz TV Design Team

Hello my blogging friends!!  Summer has finally come to Oregon and we are enjoying beautiful sunny days.  I feel fortunate to have not suffered through some of the crazy stuff mother nature has thrown at the rest of the country.  I have some great news to share - I have been chosen to serve another term with the Cardz TV design team promoting Mary's great stamp sets.  I love the stamps and the wonderful creator of them too:-)  Mary is such a sweet gal to design for and so is the great group of gals I work with.  I feel so blessed to get to know these great crafters and be inspired by them and their projects! Here are the designers for the next term at Cardz TV stamps -

Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge Challenge #27

Happy Friday fellow bloggers!!  Today I have some exciting news to share with you.  I have been invited to join Janis and the Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge Design Team for the next term.  This Friday our challenge is "Sunset".  These challenges are great because they get me out of my comfort zone.  I used my cricut to make this card.  For the sun I used a circle from George and Basic Shapes.  The palm trees are from Life is a Beach.  The background paper is cloud paper from Joanns and I sponged on some darker blue and some pink to create the sunset look.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps and I hand drew the birds.  The sand was some older Creative Memories paper and I used their wavy trimmer to create the shape of the sand.  The cardstock is from Recollections.
You can join in our challenge here by creating a project with a Sunset theme.  One lucky winner will receive a $5.00 gift certificate to Ginger Snap Scraps.
