Cardz TV Stamps "Back to School" challenge

Welcome back to another Cardz TV Stamps' challenge.  This time our theme is "Back to School".  Our schools don't begin until after Labor Day but I know some schools start earlier.  I made a card with my oldest daughter in mind as she will be starting her first year of college at the University of Oregon.  Big changes can be scary but I know she will do great!

I pulled out my cricut and used Hello Kitty Greetings for the apple/book set.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' "Simply Said" set.  Don't forget to link up your projects over at Mary's BLOG.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Cut It Up Challenge "Animation Domination"

***For the Cardz TV Stamps' "Kidz Kardz" Challenge, go HERE***

Welcome back to another Cut It Up challenge!!  The theme for this challenge is "animation domination" - Create a project that showcases an animated character. (ie. Hello Kitty, Batman, Winnie The Pooh, Spongebob, etc.) If you do not have a cricut cartridge or SVG's that have any of these type of characters, there are tons of free coloring book pages online that can be resized and used as a digi image. Must use a die cut.

For my project I used my "Hello Kitty Greetings" cartridge.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps' "Heartfelt wishes" set.

Now it is your turn - link your project up HERE and don't forget to check out the rest of the design team's projects over at the Cut It Up challenge blog.  The prize for this challenge is -

Berry Sweet

Made a few "fruity" cards to enter into this weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge.  These cards took me forever to make.  I just was not "feeling the crafty mojo" but in the end I like them.  There was a moment where I thought they would all end up in the recycling bin:-)  I know you understand what I am saying.  Sometimes when I create my dance choreography it feels the same way.  I will tell my students that it feels like I am "giving birth" when I am creating a dance that doesn't go together easily for me.  I have had a few dances over the years that felt like birthing twins, LOL!!  In the end I always love those pieces - it is just an act of faith for me that God will give me what I need the moment I need it and He always comes through:-)  Have a great Monday!!  It is starting off cloudy and cool here and my first class of the day is an outdoor water aerobics class - BRRRR!!!

Flower Card for Mother's Day Challenge

over at Cardztv.  I pulled out Hello Kitty greetings, a cartridge I haven't used in a long time.  I designed the card on my gypsy in order to size a flower to fit on the front of the card.  The challenge at CardzTv is to design a Mother's Day card using the colors blue, green, purple and white.  The background of my card is a dark purple if you can't tell by the picture.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Thursday!!
