Have a Tee-rific birthday!! - PPPR dt

Happy Memorial Day!  Today is my turn to share over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and well, I really should have done a project honoring all of the great people who have served to make our country as great as it is BUT  I did make a card honoring my hubby cuz his birthday was yesterday!!

I mean seriously - I just had to use these cute new golf files Lisa recently created!!  My hubby loves to golf so I thought this would make a perfect birthday card for him ;)  My card is a 5x7 sized card.  I was able to piece together a few different stamp sentiments from my collection to create the perfect sentiment on the card.

I used the following files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to create my card

PPPR Shiver Me Timbers Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Shiver Me Timbers" blog hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting the lovely Michelle.  If you missed the beginning of the hop, you will want to head to Lisa's blog.

There are two special freebie files available for free only today and tomorrow (after that it can be purchased in the PPPR store).  The link to the freebie is on Lisa's blog.

Today's blog hop theme is the "Shiver Me Timbers" and the design team will be showcasing projects related to pirates using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files.   Here is what I created for the hop -

I created a card using the "Ahoy Matey Title" cutting files.  I only used the ship and did that by ungrouping the file and then only selecting the ship elements.  I created an offset for my ship to help it pop off the card more and then I adhered it to my card with foam tape.

Kick Up Your Heels - PPPR DT

Hello there!! I hope you are having an enjoyable Labor Day weekend and perhaps even getting some crafty time in :-)  Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG.   I was able to get in a bit of crafty time in between coats of paint as I am painting my laundry room this weekend.  I have wanted to use the "Cowboy Boot Card" cutting file ever since it hit the PPPR store so I decided to use it to make a feminine cowboy boot card.

It was so easy to put this card together and so fun to use some feminine colors to create it with.  I had the perfect sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps ("Country At Heart" stamp set) and I love that
it leaves the option open to use this card for all sorts of occasions!!

Now if I only had me a pair of REAL pink cowboy boots - I think I could really kick up my heels!!
Thanks for stopping by today!!

"Just for You" tags - PPPR dt

Hello!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I have a fun project to share with you today :-)  I created a set of tags for my oldest daughter.  She is going to use these to decorate some gift bags she is giving to friends and family - inside the bag is a special card and gift asking them to be in her wedding - so this is the first craft I have made for her wedding!!  I created the tags using her wedding colors - navy and pink.

I created a set of 7 of these tags using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Layered Tags  1" cutting files.  The flower is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Flower Assortment" cutting files.  I cut two flowers for each tag and used some foam tap to create some dimension.  I added a white enamel dot to the center of each flower and finished off the tags with some navy twine.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

"Pool Time" layout - PPPR dt

Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I have a scrapbook layout to share with you that I created.  I did a two page spread covering part of a vacation our family took last summer.

I mixed in a few stickers and project life cards that I had in my stash and used a Peachy Keen face stamp on my sun.

I used several different PPPR files to create my layout and will list them at the end of the post

I did a print and cut with the sun that goes on the sunscreen bottle since the cuts would have been quite small.

Here is what I used -

All of the files I used can be purchased HERE in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store.  Don't forget to grab this week's freebie (the bikini cut file)!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!  I hope I have inspired you to do a summer vacation layout :-)

PPPR "Totally Awesome 80's" blog hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Totally Awesome 80's" blog hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting the lovely Nanne.  If you missed the beginning of the hop, you will want to head to Lisa's blog.

There is a special freebie file available for free only today and tomorrow (after that it can be purchased in the PPPR store).  The link to the freebie is on Lisa's blog.

Today's blog hop theme is the "Totally Awesome 80's" and the design team will be showcasing projects related to the great decade of the 1980's using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files.   Here is what I created for the hop -

I created a 12x12 scrapbook layout using some photos I had of my youngest daughter's 4th grade play.  The play was "All The World's a Stage" and her classroom was assigned the 1980's.  Perfect for today's blog hop!! To create my layout I used the following PPPR cutting files -

Here are some closeups of a few of the elements on my layout -

HB2U "Handyman" birthday card - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I have a card to share with you that I made for my hubby's birthday.  My hubby is a "Mr. Fix It" so I used some of the tools from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Tool Time Cutting Files".

I made a 5 x 7 card so I was able to make my tools rather large.  I did a print and cut with the tools and created an offset to get the white border around them.  My background paper is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Man, Oh Man Pattern Paper Pack 1" digital paper.  It looks so realistic, doesn't it?? and I don't even have a fancy printer :-)

I decided to use some products from my stash (the Scrabble tile stickers) to create the sentiment on my card, added in a few silver brads and the card was done!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!

You're Berry Sweet - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and I have a "sweet" card to share with you.  I created this card as a thank you card for a sweet lady that gave my daughter/myself a basket full of gluten free goodies.  We have just recently discovered my daughter is sensitive to gluten.  Anyway in the basket were the most delicious gluten free blueberry muffins - thus the "meaning behind the card" :-)

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Breakfast Sweets" cutting files set for the blueberry muffin.  I used some bright blue sequins for my blueberries and added a few flowers from my stash and the perfect sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps to go with.

Don't you just love blueberry muffins?!  and how could one ever resist a smiling one?!

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Feel free to visit my BLOG for more details on my card.

Mother's Day Card - PPPR dt

Hello there, today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons'  BLOG. Today I have a Mother's Day card to share with you.

I have to share with you that my inspiration for this card came from the last PPPR blog hop Facebook header.

There is something about watering cans and flowers that always draws my eye.  I must confess my actual green thumb abilities are sorely lacking but at least I make up for it with paper, LOL!!

To create my card I used the following Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' cutting files -

My sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas "Happy Celebrations" stamp set and my butterfly is from the Craftin Desert Divas "Butterfly Wishes" sequin set.
Though it is a Mother's Day card, it also fits in well with our monthly challenge - "Go Green".  Don't forget to add your projects to the challenge!!
