Welcome to the "It's a Little Strange" Grab and Go Box release blog hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting the lovely Michelle.  Here are my projects for this "grab and go" box -

For my first card, I used the "Abstract Rectangles" stencil along with several different colors of Stamp Anniething Hybrid Inks to create a rainbow colored background.  I also used the "Walkie Talkie" dies for this card.

For my second card I used the "Abstract Bauble" stencil and some "Obsidian Hybrid Ink" along with a "blending brush" to create my background.

For my final card I used some of the cork paper and blue textured paper from the paper pack that is included with the Grab and Go Box and cut them out with some heart dies in my collection.  The black enamel dots are included with this Grab and Go Box.

There you have it - my three creations using mostly all products from the "It's a Little Strange" Grab and Go Box!!  Next on our hop is the lovely Tina!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Lavender Tag and Gift Set - JB dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to share a project over on the Jaded Blossom Blog -

We recently attended the McKenzie River Lavender Festival and I picked up a few items which I thought would be great gifts to have on hand.  I created a cute tag to go with using the following Jaded Blossom goodies -

I did some very simple coloring using my Copic markers.  This went together so quickly and I find it handy to keep things on hand like this for quick hostess, thank you's or thinking of you type gifts.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Have a Lovely Day - SAT dt

Hello my craft friends!! Today is my turn to post over on the Stamp Anniething Blog -

I pulled out several of the stamp sets from the "Lemonade Stand Bundle Theme Set" and colored them up with my Copic markers.  The sentiment is also from the set.  I created the sky background using the "Land of Oz" dies and created a sky template with some thick cardstock.  I did my inking with "Carribean Sea Hybrid Ink" and a Stamp Anniething Blending Brush.  The grassy hill was cut out of green cardstock with the "Land of Oz" dies.  I also used the new "Banner Dies" (which will be in the store tomorrow!!!) to create the banner for my sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I do hope you "have a lovely day"!!

Wedding Pop Up Box Card - JB dt

Hello my crafty friends!!  I hope you had a great holiday weekend and found some time to craft!!  I am posting over on the Jaded Blossom Blog today and have another wedding card to share with you.   I have several dance students getting married this summer so I am trying to be ready for all the weddings :-)

I decided to try my hand at a pop up box card.  The tutorial I followed to create this is HERE and it doesn't require a die, just a paper trimmer and a scoring tool.

Here is what my card looks like all folded up and yes it does fit into a standard A2 envelope!!

I used all of the images from Jaded Blossom's "Wedding Bells" stamp set  and colored them in with my Copic markers trying to stick to a color scheme.   The sentiments are from the Jaded Blossom "Fancy Wedding" stamp set.  I also used "Heart Dies 2" to cut out the gray hearts on the sides of the box.

My pattern papers are from a variety of 6x6 paper pads from both Lawn Fawn and My Favorite Things.  I tried to coordinate the colors with what I used on my images.

I even added a sentiment to the backside and left an area to write a note .

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge - July

Welcome back to another monthly challenge with Jaded Blossom.  Each month we have a different theme to the challenge and July's theme is "photo inspiration".   Here is my take on the theme -

Here is the "inspiration photo" -

I chose fruit and rainbow (or rainbow colored fruit!) from the photo to create my card.
I used the following Jaded Blossom products -

I did a LOT of masking on this card.  I used some Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper for my background and then stamped all my images and sentiment in Versafine Black Onyx ink.  I did a bit of ink blending on my background using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.  To color in my images I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a little bit of water from my Pentel water brush.

Stamp Anniething July Release Day 3

Let's go back into history with this release!  Here is to the Great Pyramids, Rulers and Gods!

Anubis- the god of  embalming and death. They were believed to watch over the dead in the afterlife.

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I wanted to create a "galaxy background" feel to part of my card to go along with the sentiment "eternally grateful" :-) so I used 4 different Stamp Anniething Hybrid Inks - Shocking Pink, Amethyst, Carribean Sea, and Sky along with some watered down white acrylic paint (for the splatters).  I cut out a rectangle of the "galaxy background" and adhered it to my card front.  I also used some metallic paper from the Conquer the World Grab and Go and cut out the sun shape using the new Pyramid Builder Dies.  I used my Copic markers to color in Pharaoh and cut him out using the coordinating die.

I hope you have enjoyed all the sneak peeks for the July Release.  All of the new products are now available for purchase in the Stamp Anniething Store.

 Have a great day!

Every Queen deserves a Pharaoh!  Here is our super cute ruler in headdress!

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I wanted to create a desert oasis for my Pharaoh so I used the following dies from Stamp Anniething to create my background -

Palm Tree Dies (water and palm tree)
Grass Dies
Woodland Dies from Conquer the World Grab and Go (frame)
Pyramid Builder Dies (sun)

 Have a great day!

I have several weddings to go to this summer so that is what inspired this project.  I used the new Gift Card Slider Die along with Label Shape Dies 2, Fancy Wedding, and Wedding Banner Dies.

Your next stop on our hop is the lovely Lee-Ann
