Just a Note - 3GJ dt post

Today is my turn to post on the 3 Girl JAM blog and I have a back to school card to share with you.  I used a file from the silhouette store for my card and then embellished it with some of the fun 3 Girl JAM yellow tie dyed ribbon (love this stuff!!).  I used my 3 Girl JAM bow maker to make a double bow and then glued a button from my stash on top.  My card fits in perfectly with this month's challenge - "back to school or something with a writing instrument" - so you can be sure I will be linking my card to the 3 Girl JAM challenge blog.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget to use code NE10 to save 10% off your entire purchase from the 3 Girl JAM store.

"Have a Happy You Day!!" - 3GJ dt

Hello fellow paper crafters and thanks for stopping by today!!  I have a card to share with you for my dt post over at 3 Girl JAM.   I have been slowly growing my collection of alcohol markers and decided to keep working on my coloring skills - alas it will be a long journey to feel like I am getting anywhere close to the great skills I see out in blogland :-)  I love the color purple and used a few delicious 3 Girl JAM purple products to compliment my image.

My rosette is made with 3GJ "Iris" crinkle ribbon from the Spring Flowers bundle.  I used hot glue and cut a circle out of paper and just pleated the flower around the edges of the circle to create the rosette.  I finished it with a button and some twine from my stash.  Also on my card is some lovely 3GJ "lovely lilac" flower die cut ribbon from the 3GJ flower bundle.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget that you can receive 10% off your 3 Girl JAM order by using code NE10.

Nautical Gift Bag - PPPR dt

Happy Monday my fellow crafters!! It is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and I am here today to share a gift bag I decorated for a baby shower I recently attended.  The shower was for a baby boy so I thought it would be fun to use the newer PPPR "Sail Away" cutting files set.  I used the boat file and cut it out large enough to decorate my gift bag.

This went together so quickly and I just love using my cut files to jazz up and personalize gift bags. I created an embellishment using some 3 Girl JAM ribbon from the "red, white and blue bundle" along with a brass button I had in my stash and a bit of hot glue.  I added some doodling with my white gel pen and a red metallic skittle.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

I did a print and cut for the s'more image and popped it up on foam tape.
