You're Berry Sweet - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and I have a "sweet" card to share with you.  I created this card as a thank you card for a sweet lady that gave my daughter/myself a basket full of gluten free goodies.  We have just recently discovered my daughter is sensitive to gluten.  Anyway in the basket were the most delicious gluten free blueberry muffins - thus the "meaning behind the card" :-)

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Breakfast Sweets" cutting files set for the blueberry muffin.  I used some bright blue sequins for my blueberries and added a few flowers from my stash and the perfect sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps to go with.

Don't you just love blueberry muffins?!  and how could one ever resist a smiling one?!

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Feel free to visit my BLOG for more details on my card.

Hey Chickie!! PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and I have a  card to share that I recently made for one of my friend's daughters.  She is also my middle daughter's good friend and one of my dance students.  She was attending a weekend retreat for school leadership and parents/family/friends were asked to send letters to support and encourage the students.  I, being a crafter, of course asked if I could make a card!!

I used the following Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' cut files to create my card -

I put my cute little chick on an action wobble

and added some bright colored sequins and the perfect Cardz TV Stamps sentiment to go along!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget about the fabulous spring sale going on right now!!

Other supplies used ~
Designer Paper - My Mind's Eye "Filled With Love" 6x6 paper pad
Sentiment - Cardz TV Stamps' "Foodie Punnies"

CTVS "3d Baby" challenge

T.G.I.F.!!  It is also the 2nd day of spring break for my kids as then end of the trimester was yesterday and today is a grading day.  We are having some beautiful spring weather here and the daffodils, hyacinths and primroses are just beautiful.  I am back with another 3d challenge with Cardz TV Stamps 3d design team and this time the theme is "Baby".  Here is my project for the challenge -

I used a baby bottle card cut file from the silhouette online store for the outside pieces of my box.  I created a shadow lear for each side of the box.  The box itself I made by hand following the directions found here.  Then I just glued it all together and voila!!  a baby bottle box!!

My sentiment is from the CTVS "FAQ's" stamp set.  I love this sentiment with baby projects.  Last year I made a card and used the same sentiment for a different CTVS design team project.

All of my patterned paper is from a K & Co. baby stack and the cardstock is Recollections.  My bow is 3 Girl JAM "Baby Girl" from the Baby Bundle.

Now it's your turn - create a 3d baby-themed project and link it up at Cardz TV blog.  While you are there check out the rest of the team's projects for some inspiration.

For my cake slice I used a file from the SVG Attic "Make a Wish" collection.  My sentiments are from Cardz TV Stamps' "Make a Wish" set.

I embossed the top layer of my cake slice to make it look more like chocolate frosting and then added lace trim and pearls to continue the frosted look.  Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to visit Cardz TV blog to see the rest of the design team's projects and to link up your project for a chance to win a set of Mary's stamps.

3GJ Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome to the 3 Girl JAM Birthday Blog Hop. You should have arrived at my blog from the lovely Rebecca.  If you didn't start at the beginning of the hop then you will want to head on over to the 3 Girl JAM blog so that you don't miss a single stop along the way.  There will be prizes and lots of creative inspiration for you.   The inspiration for this blog hop is Julie's sister's birthday and all of the design team will be sharing a birthday related project.  I decided to make a card because it seems like I never have enough birthday cards on hand.  My inspiration for my card is my niece's birthday which is the day after July 4th.  I used a patriotic theme for my card and incorporated the new Red-White-Blue varigated crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM's new "Red, White and Blue bundle".

Julie is running a special 20 % off sale at 3 Girl JAM this weekend - just use the coupon code BIRTHDAY.

Your next stop on the hop is the lovely Mackenzie - the letter "M" in JAM ;-)  Here is the full lineup of the hop in case you get lost along the way.

"Ladybug Hugs" - PPPR Design Team Day

Today is another project day for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team.  I decided to make a birthday card for a sweet little neighbor girl who turned 5 yesterday!  My youngest was invited to her party so I made this card especially with her in mind.  I used Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Ladybug Cutting files" for my ladybug holding the flower.  I also used PPPR "Layered Labels 2 cutting files" for the frame behind her.  I created a shadow layer for the yellow portion of the frame.

My designer paper is from the Bo Bunny 6x6 "sweet cakes" pad.  My sentiments are from Cardz TV Stamps "Think Spring" and "Good Times" sets.   Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget to head over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG to see what the rest of the team's projects and to see what's new in the store.

Cardz TV stamps "Good Times" blog hop

Welcome to the Cardz TV stamps' "Good Times" Blog Hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting Rachelle.  If you missed out on the beginning of the hop, head over to Mary's blog to start at the top.  The entire Cardz TV stamps' design team is showcasing one of Mary's newest stamp sets called "Good
Times".  This is a great set of stamp sentiments designed with birthday celebrations in mind but as with all of Cardz TV stamps' sets you are never limited to a specific use - let your imagination have fun!

I chose to make a birthday card for my project because it seems like I can never keep enough on hand.  With 3 daughters, there is always some friend/classmate celebrating a birthday and the cards seem to fly right out the door once I have made them.  I had not used my cricut in awhile and decided to pull out my all time favorite cartridge, Create a Critter.

You can purchase your own set of "Good Times" sentiments at the Cardz TV stamps store HERE. Your next stop for the "Good Times" hop is Jennifer's blog.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Here is the complete blog hop lineup in case you get lost along the way :-)

Birthday Cake Card - PPPR design team

Happy Wednesday!!  It is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I am sharing a card I made using the Birthday Panda cutting files set.  I made this for my middle daughter's friend - she turned 16 last week :-)  I love this set of files.  I have used several of the cuts from this set - the panda, the cupcake, the candles and now this great cake shaped card.

I cut the base layer for the cake twice so as to reinforce the strength of the candle.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps "Simply Said" set and I added some sunflower ribbon from 3 Girl Jam.  Don't forget to head over the the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog to see the rest of the design team's projects.  And check out the newest release from Lisa -  Hoppy Easter cutting files, aren't these adorable?!!

"Toto" thank you card

I wanted to share a quick (okay, let's be honest here. . . nothing I make is actually "quick" ) thank you card I made today.  I created this for my daughter to give to her classmate/friend.  My youngest daughter was recently cast as Dorothy in their spring school play.  Her friend brought her the cutest stuffed Toto animal as a congratulatory gift/momento.  So thoughtful. . .   anyway, my card uses a file from the Silhouette store for my dog.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps "Heartfelt Wishes" set.  Thanks for stopping by today - hope your week is off to a good start!
