Cardz TV  Stamps Ch# 24 "Kidz Kardz"
Make a set of 3 - 3x3 Valentines for kids
Starts: Fri, Feb 8
Ends: Thurs, Feb 21 @ Noon EST
Prize: 1 set of Cardz TV Stamps

This is such a fun challenge because 3x3 cards are so fun to make and go together rather quickly too.  Here is my project for this challenge:

All of my patterned papers are from Doodlebug.  I used Recollection cardstock for the rest.   My sentiments are stamped using Momento Tuxedo Black ink.  All of my sentiments are from Cardz TV Stamps and can be purchased HERE.

I used Create a Critter for both the dog and the heart.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps' "Be My Valentine" set.

I used Create a Critter again for the cute teddy bear and his heart.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' "Beary Sweet" set.

This cute owl and the branch he sits on are a Lori Whitlock file from the Silhouette Online store.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps' "For the Birds" set.

Now it is your turn.  Come play with us!  Create a set of 3x3 Kids Valentines and link up your project on the Cardz TV blog.  Don't forget to check out the rest of the design team's projects while you are there!!

I hope everybody had a fun weekend.  Now that we have finished watching the Super Bowl, I wanted to share with you a Valentine's card I made using some Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons cutting files and Cardz TV Stamps for my sentiment.

My card base is made using PPPR's Layered Labels 1 cutting files and the cute owl is from Little Hoot Cutting files.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps' "for the birds" set.

PPPR design team

It's Wednesday and that means 2 things - 1.) it's the middle of the week and 2.) it's design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!!  Today I am sharing a card I made for Valentine's Day.  I used the Frog Prince Cutting Files to make my cute little froggie - who can resist that face?!  I had the perfect sentiment to go with this from the Cardz TV stamps' set "Toad-ally Awesome".

Don't forget to check out the rest of the design team's projects by heading over to the PPPR blog.

"Toto" thank you card

I wanted to share a quick (okay, let's be honest here. . . nothing I make is actually "quick" ) thank you card I made today.  I created this for my daughter to give to her classmate/friend.  My youngest daughter was recently cast as Dorothy in their spring school play.  Her friend brought her the cutest stuffed Toto animal as a congratulatory gift/momento.  So thoughtful. . .   anyway, my card uses a file from the Silhouette store for my dog.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps "Heartfelt Wishes" set.  Thanks for stopping by today - hope your week is off to a good start!

PPPR Valentine's Day Blog Hop

Today is the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Valentine's Day Blog hop.  You should have arrived here from Melisa's blog.  If you didn't start from the beginning of the hop, feel free to head over to Lisa's blog so you can start the hop from the beginning.  Lisa is offering some great blog candy so you will not want to miss out!!  Each of the design team members is creating a project with Valentine's Day in mind and we are showcasing Lisa's wonderful cutting files, clipart and digital paper.  My project is a Batman Valentine.  This was designed with our former neighbor boy in mind.  He is 7 years old and he and my 10 year old daughter were the best of buds when they lived next door.  He is one of those boys who gets into something and becomes fixated on it for a year at a time.  It was dinosaurs, sharks, Star Wars and now it is Batman.  I used the Superhero Trio cutting files to cut our Batman.  I also used the Layered Labels 2 to create my sentiment. I did a print and cut for the actual sentiment because I did not own this saying in stamp form.  The hearts are from the Little Hoot cutting files.

I am going to let you in on a little secret.  Before I made the batman easel card I had originally made a batman shaped card.  Batman is supposed to be holding a garland of hearts.  However, after closer inspection of this card, I realized it actually looked a bit obscene, yikes!  So what is your opinion - do you think I should send the easel card or the shaped card to our neighbor boy?  I can't wait to read your comments!!

Back to the blog hop - now it is time to head over to Barb's Blog to see what she has made.  Don't forget about the great blog candy.  For a chance to win, you must be a follower of each blog on our hop and leave a comment on each blog. For extra chances, you can also "LIKE" Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons on Facebook and/or sign up for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Newsletter.

Here is the full  lineup for the hop in case you get "lost" along the way.
