Oh how I wish I had hair like Charlotte, LOL!!  This was a fun image to color and I even stepped out of my comfort zone and created my own background.

SAT January Stamp Release Day 2

Hi and welcome to our first release for the NEW YEAR!

Well this is an especially fun stamp set as we share the same name, LOL!!  I decided to play upon the "treats" idea and used some background paper to help with that theme.  I chose to use a different sentiment other than the one that comes with the set only because I wanted to create a card that could be used for several different occasions - Valentine's Day, birthdays, thank you...

I colored the image with my Copic markers.  I pulled out an old Martha Stewart border punch ;) and embellished with flowers from my stash.

I colored "Taylor" in with my copics and will have the list of colors I used at the end of my post.  I followed a card sketch for the layout of my card and my sentiment is from a Cardz TV Stamps set.

Exciting news to share

Happy Thursday to you all!!  Hope you are having a great week so far!!  I am excited to share that I will be joining the Jaded Blossom design team this coming January!!

Java Great Holiday - Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

Hi there!!  I am so excited to be a guest designer on the Jaded Blossom Blog today!  I have a Christmas project to share with you but the beauty of this project is that it can be used for all sorts of different occasions!  I just happened to use this as a way to give a Christmas gift to my daughter's piano teacher.

This is a "double diagonal pocket card" and you can find the tutorial to make one of these yourself HERE.  There are two different options to this card and I chose the variation that opens up to have room on the inside to write a message.

I used several Jaded Blossom products on my card - 

coffee cup - Coffee Dies 

sentiments - Happy Brew Year

tag - Luggage Tag Dies

In one pocket I stuck a tag and in the back pocket I put a Starbucks gift card.  My daughter was able to write a message to her teacher on the inside.  I embellished with some snowflake ephemera, ribbon, jingle bells and Nuvo drops.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Have a Sweet Christmas - SAT dt

Hey there!!  Today is my turn to post over on the Stamp Anniething Blog and I have a fun Christmas card to share with you.

I used two different stamp images for my card.  I used "Felicity - What's Cooking?" for my girl.  I then used the santa hat from "Paige - Holiday Magic".  My paper is from Doodlebug and I also used a sentiment from the same paper pad and cut it apart.  I finished it up with some snowflake sequins.

I did a little paper piecing on my girl's outfit and then used my copic markers for the rest of the image.  This fun image could be used for so many occasions!!  I added a pawprint cut out I made using a file from the Silhouette Online Store.
