August release is finally here and we are celebrating with some beloved icons of the past!

Stamp Anniething August 2019 Release Day 1

August release is finally here and we are celebrating with some beloved icons of the past!

Norma Jeane Mortenson, later to be a classic blonde bombshell named Marilyn Monroe!

This month we have a wonderful Quilted Card Mat Die, a Miss You Word Die, a retro Circles Stencils and some fun charms!

I used the "Falling Stars" stencil and mixed together Moonstone glimmer paste with "Freesia Hybrid Ink" to create my background.  I added some sparkle to the dress with a shimmer pen.

I used the Coffee 6x6 paper pad from Echo Park for all of my pattern paper and chose some solid color cardstock from my stash to go with it.  I also used Copic markers in a similar color scheme.

Hello Sunshine!! SAT dt

Hello my crafty friends!!  I am up over on the Stamp Anniething Blog with a summer inspired card to share with you -

I had lots of fun creating the ink blended background using the Stamp Anniething Hybrid Inks in the following colors -

Blossom, Freesia and Carribean Sea

I used the Palm Tree Dies  and Land of Oz Dies to create the exotic island for Vanessa from Vanessa - Coconut Drink.  

I added a summer sentiment from a random stamp set in my stash.  I used my COPIC markers to color in Vanessa and tried to give her a hint of a tan ;) Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Welcome to the "It's a Little Strange" Grab and Go Box release blog hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting the lovely Michelle.  Here are my projects for this "grab and go" box -

For my first card, I used the "Abstract Rectangles" stencil along with several different colors of Stamp Anniething Hybrid Inks to create a rainbow colored background.  I also used the "Walkie Talkie" dies for this card.

For my second card I used the "Abstract Bauble" stencil and some "Obsidian Hybrid Ink" along with a "blending brush" to create my background. 

For my final card I used some of the cork paper and blue textured paper from the paper pack that is included with the Grab and Go Box and cut them out with some heart dies in my collection.  The black enamel dots are included with this Grab and Go Box.  

There you have it - my three creations using mostly all products from the "It's a Little Strange" Grab and Go Box!!  Next on our hop is the lovely Tina!!

Lavender Tag and Gift Set - JB dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to share a project over on the Jaded Blossom Blog -

We recently attended the McKenzie River Lavender Festival and I picked up a few items which I thought would be great gifts to have on hand.  I created a cute tag to go with using the following Jaded Blossom goodies -

I did some very simple coloring using my Copic markers.  This went together so quickly and I find it handy to keep things on hand like this for quick hostess, thank you's or thinking of you type gifts.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
