Hey Chickie!! PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and I have a  card to share that I recently made for one of my friend's daughters.  She is also my middle daughter's good friend and one of my dance students.  She was attending a weekend retreat for school leadership and parents/family/friends were asked to send letters to support and encourage the students.  I, being a crafter, of course asked if I could make a card!!

I used the following Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' cut files to create my card -

I put my cute little chick on an action wobble

and added some bright colored sequins and the perfect Cardz TV Stamps sentiment to go along!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget about the fabulous spring sale going on right now!!

Friends Fur-Ever and Ever!! - CDD dt

Today is my turn to post over on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG.   It's day 3 of "Animal Theme Week" here at Craftin Desert Divas and I have a fun card to share with you -

I used a cute dog shaped card from the Silhouette online store to create my card base - id#59693.  I added some bows by using another cut file that I had in my library.  I had to make my dog a girl since all I have are girls :-)  I embossed my sentiment with some white embossing powder and Voila!  a fun, quick and easy card.  The cute polka dot paper is from Lawn Fawn.

This cute sentiment is from one of the newer stamp sets from Craftin Desert Divas - "Animal Antics".  I love this stamp set as it has so many cute animal puns that are perfect for a variety of projects and occasions!!

"Use Lots of Green" - New CDD linky party

Time for a new linky party over at Craftin Desert Divas

This time the theme is "Use Lots of Green"

One lucky winner will get a stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas.

One lucky winner will get a $25.00 gift certificate for regular priced files from Too Cute by Jessica.

Here is my project for the linky party -

I was trying to think "outside of the box" with the green theme even though my mind kept veering towards a St. Patrick's Day theme.  I was in need of a sympathy card and put the 2 together to come up with this.  My card is going to a man so I thought something more simple would be best.  I found the tree cut file in the silhouette online store -id #41499.   My sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas' "Simply Said" stamp set.

You can purchase the Craftin Desert Divas "Simply Said" stamp set HERE.  I just love this stamp set - I have gotten so many uses out of it as it is so versatile and covers so many occasions.

Dr. Thank You - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!! Today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' blog and I have a card to share with you for my project.  I made this card specifically for a friend of ours who is a surgical nurse.  My middle daughter is thinking she wants to go into the medical field for her future career and our friend allowed my daughter to "shadow" her on two of her work days.  I hope that helps you understand my card better now -

I used one of the Dr. files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Check Up" cutting files set.

I used coloring similar to my daughter's skin and hair to make it look as though this will be my daughter in the future :-).  I finished it off with some Washi tape from We R Memory Keepers, some enamel dots from my stash and a sentiment from Craftin Desert Divas' "Short and Sweet Tags" set.

This time the theme is "Use Ribbon"

One lucky winner will get a stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas.

One lucky winner will get a $25.00 gift certificate for regular priced files from Too Cute by Jessica.

Here is my project for the linky party -

My sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas' "Baked With Love" stamp set.

My cute apron box is a Lori Whitlock file from the Silhouette store id#55100.  I used some cute patterned paper from My Mind's Eye "My Girl" collection for most of the box.  The polka dot paper is from Recollections.  My ribbon is also from Michaels.  I used the coordinating SVG set for the stamps to cut out my sentiment background.  This cute little box was able to hold several homemade M-n-M cookies inside :-)

You can purchase the Craftin Desert Divas "Baked With Love" stamp set HERE.  Though this was released at Christmas time, it is really quite a versatile stamp set and you will see me showcasing it on several projects this month.
