Sweet Wishes

Hello my fellow CDD lovers!! Today is my turn to post over on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG and I have sweet little card that I made to share with you.  I designed this to be used for a baby shower card but it is generic enough that it could be used for many other occasions.

To create my card I used the "Stitched In Circle Dies" to create a circle in my top layer and also to create the frame to go around the opening of the circle.  I then created the sky background using some distress ink.  My grass layer is cut from the "Outdoor Landscape Dies".   I stamped and cut out the bamboo stalks and the panda bear along with the sentiment using the "Panda Pal Stamps" and "Panda Pal Dies".  To create the longer bamboo stalks I simply cut several out and glued them together.  I then glued some sequins on from "Fairy Dust Sequins"  and "Pastel Paradise Sequins" using some glossy accents.  I crinkled up my ribbon using hot glue and also used hot glue to adhere the twine and button.
