Guest Designer for My Craft Spot

Hello everybody and T.G.I.F.!!   I have the privilege of being a guest designer today for Kimberly from My Craft Spot.  I have a couple of projects to share with you using My Craft Spot's "Bon Appetit" stamp set.

For my easel card I used a cutting file from Miss Kate Cuttables.  My paper is from Doodlebug's "Sweet Cakes" 6x6 pad.  I used some brown paper with a shimmer to it to make my chocolate look like it had a sheen.  I thought the combination of sentiments went perfectly with this card.

My cupcake box is filled with Dove chocolate and the cutting file is from Lettering Delights.  I embellished it with some rick rack and popped my sentiment up on some foam tape for added dimension.

I have really enjoyed working with this stamp set and see so many possibilities with it.  I know I will be using it for the holidays to add to my home baked goods for family and friends.  There are several sentiments  in this set that would be perfect on tags!

Now for some FUN!!  One lucky person will be chosen to receive a set of their own stamps from My Craft Spot.  Here's what you need to do -
1.  Visit the My Craft Spot store and choose a stamp set you would like.
2. Leave a comment on MY BLOG  with your stamp choice and a way to get a hold of you if you are the winner.
3.  I will choose somebody on Friday, November 1st so you have until midnight Pacific Time on Thursday to enter - good luck!! and thank you Kimberly for this generous donation.

PPPR DT day - Minion Birthday Card

Hello everybody!!  I hope your week is going well so far.  This week is better for me because I feel like I am getting my energy back after being sick last week with the "ickies" that are going around. I have a fun birthday card to share with you today that I made for one of my 16 year old daughter's friends. I have been wanting to use this cute Minion cut file set from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons ever since Lisa released it.  I saw this as my perfect opportunity as I needed a boy card but the recipient is the right personality for a "fun" card.

Supplies used ~
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' Minions Cutting files
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons ' Layered Labels 3 Cutting files for card base
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' Birthday Critters Cutting files for present
Cardz TV Stamps' "Good Times" set for sentiment
My Minds' Eye "Hip Hip Hooray" for patterned paper

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget to stop by the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG to see the rest of the design team's projects and join me back here on Saturday, Oct 26th for a co-blog hop with Scrappy Moms Stamps and Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

PPPR "Autumn Harvest Blog Hop"

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Autumn Harvest Blog Hop" where the design team is showcasing autumn/harvest themed projects made using PPPR files.  If you came here from Nanne's blog then you are in the right place.  If you missed the start of the hop, you will want to head over HERE.

Here is my project for the hop -

I created a card for fall using the following Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files -
Sunburst Shapes cutting files - printed for sunset
Fall Festival Cutting files - crow, hay bale, fence and corn (printed these on the background paper)

other supplies used -
My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Fall Fun" set
enamel dots from Recollections and diamond stickles

I like to buy my files as SVG's because I can use them both for cutting and for printing which is what I did with this card.  Some of the files I printed as a part of my background and others I cut and added for dimension to my card.  I also embossed my fence with my Cuttlebug.

Of course we have some blog candy for you today -

Cardz TV Stamps' "Ghost and Goblin Party"

Happy Friday!!  I hope your week has been going well.  I ended up getting sick so the past few days have been a bit more challenging but the weekend is coming so I am hoping to get some extra rest and kick this thing in the butt!!  On a brighter note, today is another challenge day for the Cardz TV "Go To Challenge Gals" and the theme is Ghost and Goblin Party - make a card, layout or craft for Halloween.  I made a card that I am going to send off to my niece and nephew along with some treats.

My sentiment is from one of the newer Cardz TV Stamps sets - "Trick or Treat".  It fits perfectly with this cute little vampire from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  Thanks for stopping by today.  To link up your project for the challenge and to see the rest of the design team's creations, please go HERE.

Halloween Treat Bags - 3 Girl JAM

Happy Monday everyone!  It is my 3 Girl JAM design team day I have a couple of cotton muslin bags to share with you that I decorated for Halloween.  I used the 3.25" x 5" sized ones to create my project and they are perfect to stuff with a bit of candy treats for my niece and nephew!!

I used some Ink Jet T-Shirt Transfer paper from Avery (3275) and an image from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons for the front of my bags.  I reversed my image and then printed it out on the transfer paper,  I followed the directions for ironing it on and Voila!!  I am quite excited at the possibilities of this and since I did this I have seen another fellow blogger do the same thing with colored ink too!!  I threaded some "Harvest Orange" crinkle ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM Harvest Bundle through the drawstring opening.  I used a small safety pin on the end of my ribbon to make it easier to feed the ribbon through.  My buttons are from last year's K and Co.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

"So Corny!! " - PPPR Design Team Day

Happy Wednesday!!  Today is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I have a Halloween inspired card for my project.  I made this card specifically for one of my coworkers because she "treated" me to a huge bag of candy corn after she found out it is one of my fall "comfort foods"!!  I used the "Candy Corn Guy" cutting files and the "Sentiment Spots 1" cutting files to create my card.

I did some stitching around my card using my sewing machine and added some Orange Licorice twine from Trendy Twine along with some stickers that I felt complimented the candy theme well.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps' "Garden Greetings".

Don't forget the PPPR Monthly challenge is still going on so there is still time to get your birthday related projects in (don't forget to use a PPPR product in your project) and linked up HERE.
