Easter is going to sneak up on us pretty quick here and I just love these cute bunnies from the February release so here is today's project -

Find Joy Everyday - Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge

Hey there!!  It's time for a new challenge over at Jaded Blossom and this month the theme is "embossing".

To create my project for the monthly challenge I embossed the larger flower image from the "Flower Cluster" stamp set with gold embossing powder.  I colored the image in with my copic markers and added some detail with a white gel pen.  I embossed the sentiment from the "Heart Beats" stamp set with gold embossing powder on a thin strip of vellum paper.  Lastly I used the "Card Mat Dies" to cut out the image layer and adhered it to my card base with foam tape.  I added a few gemstones for a final touch.

Relax and Enjoy - SAT dt

Hi there!!  Today is my turn to post over on the Stamp Anniething Blog and I have a fun project to share with you.

My friend is performing in a ballet this weekend and instead of taking her flowers I thought I would bring her this instead ;)  I created the tag to go with her gift using "Lucille - Relax and Enjoy".   This is such a fun image to color - who doesn't want to have a spa day, right?!  I tried to maker her robe and towel look like terry cloth.   My tag base is created with Jaded Blossom's "Luggage Tag Die".

Welcome Spring - JB dt

Hi there!!  Today is my turn over on the Jaded Blossom Blog and I have a spring gift idea to share.  I know St. Patrick's Day doesn't technically fit into spring but I always think of it as the beginning of the season ;)  I thought it would be fun to give my daughter a set of green socks so she (and a few friends) would be set for their green on March 17!!

I started by using the Ric Rac Topper Die to cut out my green cardstock.  I then used the new Spring  Banner Dies to create my shamrock border and finally I embossed my sentiment from Follow the Easter Bunny stamp set in gold.  I then adhered a mix of green and gold sequins from my stash.

Jaded Blossom February Release Blog Hop

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's February 2018 Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Stacey you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Here is what I made:

I started off by cutting out a seed packet using a file from the Silhouette online store.  I stamped and embossed in white a background with a few images from the "Flower Cluster" stamp set.   I then stamped in black ink a few flowers and leaf clusters from the same stamp set.  I also stamped a sentiment from the "Follow the Easter Bunny" stamp set and a couple of butterflies from  the "Happy Spring" stamp set.  I colored the images in with my copics and cut them out with my Scan n Cut.  I cut the sentiment out with the "Rectangle Dies 1" and backed it with a yellow layer cut from the "Scallop Rectangle Dies 1".

Jaded Blossom February Release Day 5

Welcome back to another sneak peek for the Jaded Blossom February Release.  We are on Day 5 friends!!  Hope you have been enjoying all of the sneak peeks so far!!  Make sure to visit the Jaded Blossom Blog to see the rest of the design team's inspiration.  Today we are revealing two new stamp sets - "Spring Origami" and "Flower cluster".

To create my card I started out with a piece of Strathmore Bristol paper and stamped the rose images from the new "Spring Origami" stamp set with Versamark ink and then embossed in white.  I used my Zig markers and a water brush to color in the images and the background.  After everything dried I went over the flowers with Wink of Stella to give them some shimmer.  I stamped another set of flowers with Versafine Black Onyx ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  These flowers I fussy cut and used the larger one on the front of my card and popped it up with foam tape and put two of the smaller roses on the inside of my card.  My sentiment is from the "Mi Amore" stamp set.  I am actually going to use this card for a wedding card so that is why I chose this particular sentiment.  Lastly I added some sequins to the card.
