Cardz TV stamps "Good Times" blog hop

Welcome to the Cardz TV stamps' "Good Times" Blog Hop!!  You should have arrived at my blog after visiting Rachelle.  If you missed out on the beginning of the hop, head over to Mary's blog to start at the top.  The entire Cardz TV stamps' design team is showcasing one of Mary's newest stamp sets called "Good
Times".  This is a great set of stamp sentiments designed with birthday celebrations in mind but as with all of Cardz TV stamps' sets you are never limited to a specific use - let your imagination have fun!

I chose to make a birthday card for my project because it seems like I can never keep enough on hand.  With 3 daughters, there is always some friend/classmate celebrating a birthday and the cards seem to fly right out the door once I have made them.  I had not used my cricut in awhile and decided to pull out my all time favorite cartridge, Create a Critter.

You can purchase your own set of "Good Times" sentiments at the Cardz TV stamps store HERE. Your next stop for the "Good Times" hop is Jennifer's blog.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Here is the complete blog hop lineup in case you get lost along the way :-)

Die Cuttin' Divas Guest Designer

Today I have a cute Easter layout to share with you that I made for my appearance as guest designer over at the Die Cuttin' Divas challenge blog.  The theme this challenge is to make a project with a bunny (or bunnies).  I used the "Hoppy Easter" cutting file set from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons for all of my cuts.  The patterned paper is from a Recollections paper pad.  I lay down some paper for photo mats but didn't adhere them since I am not sure yet how many pictures I will actually be using for this layout.

Now it's your turn - create your "bunny" project and post it over at the Die Cuttin' Divas BLOG.  Who doesn't love a bunny this time of year???

St. Patrick's Day Treat

Hope your weekend is off to a great start.  I just wanted to pop in and share with you a treat I made to give to my girls for St. Patrick's Day.  My oldest 2 are dancers and don't want a lot of "junk" so I chose gumballs instead.  I found the rainbow gumballs at Target in the $1 bins.  My shamrocks are made from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Shamrock Faces Cutting Files".    I also used  some green polka dotted digital paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Christmas Brights Circles and Spots" pack.    I did an offset for my shamrock base, flipped and then welded them together to make the topper.  I chalked the cheeks and glued onto the tops of the wrappers.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Birthday Cake Card - PPPR design team

Happy Wednesday!!  It is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I am sharing a card I made using the Birthday Panda cutting files set.  I made this for my middle daughter's friend - she turned 16 last week :-)  I love this set of files.  I have used several of the cuts from this set - the panda, the cupcake, the candles and now this great cake shaped card.

I cut the base layer for the cake twice so as to reinforce the strength of the candle.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps "Simply Said" set and I added some sunflower ribbon from 3 Girl Jam.  Don't forget to head over the the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog to see the rest of the design team's projects.  And check out the newest release from Lisa -  Hoppy Easter cutting files, aren't these adorable?!!

You are my Hero!! - 3 Girl Jam DT

Happy Monday!!   I hope you have had a great weekend and that your week is off to a good start.  Today I am sharing an easel card that I made using one of the new 3 Girl Jam  Superhero Flair buttons.  The designs for these buttons are from Lisa Norris at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  She is also the creator of the cute matching cut file I used on my card.  You can find the superhero svg here.  I accented my card with some gorgeous Holly Berry ribbon from the 3GJ "Winter Bundle" set.  For my sentiments, I used 2 different Cardz TV stamps sets - "It's all about you" and "Heart to Heart".

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget to check out the current challenge over at the 3 Girl Jam challenge blog.  Also, I wanted to make sure you know that there is a special going on at 3 Girl Jam right now - use the code VAC15 to receive 15% off your purchase.  Orders will begin shipping the 25th of March.

Onto the hop...

You should have arrived at my blog from Stacey's blog

Here is my take on the inspiration photo -

I used a TAWS freebie for my sentiment and the TAWS stamp set "get the point" for all the pieces in my banner.  My ribbon is "sunflower" from the 3 Girl Jam "harvest" bundle and I added a 3 Girl Jam vintage button in gray.  I was inspired by the colors of the photo as well as the banner that went across the top of two of the little characters.  I also used some wood grain paper at the bottom of my card which was inspired by the wood grains in the picture.

Your next stop on the hop is Kasia.
