Baby card and gift bag to match - PPPR DT day
Wow!! It's Wednesday already! I hope your week is going well. Today I have a baby card and a matching gift bag that I made for my neighbor who recently gave birth to her second son. I used the "Safari Love" cutting files set for my cute giraffe and the "Borders 1" cutting files set for the border on my gift bag.

Dance Bags - DT post for 3 Girl Jam
Happy Monday my fellow bloggers. Today is my Design Team day for 3 Girl Jam and I want to share some of 3 Girl Jam's Stateline muslin bags that I decorated for my older girls to use in their dance bags. Both of my older girls are on pointe in their ballet training and that means extra accessories in their dance bags - bandaids, nail clippers, toepads, etc. . . Well, I thought these bags would make a great storage solution for some of those smaller items. I used the 5 x 7 sized Stateline bags for this project. I also used some Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) that I had purchased a year ago and never used since. I have to tell you I am in love with HTV!! It cut out so well with my Cameo and ironed on easily with my regular ole iron set on high. I also pulled out the drawstring and inserted some Tuxedo crinkle ribbon from the 3 Girl Jam Celebrations Bundle. I added my daughters' names on the backside in case so they would know whose bag was whose. The font I used was "Lobster" and the svg for the ballet shoes was one that I picked up awhile ago in the Craftedge forum.
This project went together so easily and quite quickly too!! I see myself doing more of these in the future for gifts - afterall, a lot of my daughters' friends are dancers too!!

Cardz TV Challenge "Mix It Up"
Cardz TV Ch# 27 "Mix It Up!"
Make a card, layout or craft project mixing 3 patterned papers
Starts: Fri, April 5
Here is my project for this challenge:
I loved this challenge!! I have always been inspired by other crafters who mix several patterned papers in their projects. It has been an area that I have tried to challenge myself to grow in over this past year and this challenge was just another motivator. I went a bit overboard and actually used 4 different patterned papers - oops!! My sentiment is from the Cardz TV stamps' set "For the Birds". I love having cards like this on hand for thank you's or just a note to a friend to remind them how much I appreciate them.
Now it's your turn!! Just link your project up over at the Cardz TV BLOG and be eligible for the chance to win a set of Cardz TV stamps. While you are there make sure to check out the rest of the design team's projects for this challenge!!

Happy Easter!!
Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a blessed Easter! We are fortunate to be having beautiful spring weather and were able to do our Easter egg hunt outside today. We did our Easter dinner today so that we could celebrate with our extended family. Tomorrow I will give my daughters their Easter baskets. I decided to make them this year as they requested less junk in them so I did not need huge baskets to give.
I made each of these baskets out of a 12 x 12 piece of paper. I made one similar to these last year and have a link in that post to a tutorial if you are interested, check it out HERE. I have some "requested goodies" to fill them with and will put them by their place at the dinner table for them to wake and find in the morning. Then it will be off to Easter service at church. Monday is my youngest daughter's birthday so I will need to transition gears quickly and begin to get ready for her birthday party. Thanks for stopping by today.

PPPR Design Team day
Happy Wednesday my fellow bloggers!! This week is spring break so not only do my kids have the week off of school but my husband does too and I have time off from teaching dance which means a bit more time for crafting!! I want to take a moment to thank those of you who stopped by my blog over the weekend during the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Welcome Home" blog hop. Also, a welcome to my new followers - thank you for adding me to your blog list!
Today is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I chose to make an Easter card using the basket from the "Hoppy Easter" cutting files set. I turned the basket into a shaped card using my Silhouette Designer Edition software.

I also added a pink peep from the "My Peeps" cutting file set and hand-drew is face to look like a real peep. I added some Sunflower crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam and did some pen stitching to finish off my basket. The finished size is about 5". Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's projects over at the PPPR blog and also meet the newest additions to our design team.

PPPR "Welcome Home" Blog Hop
***for the Cardz TV Stamps' "Good Times" blog hop please go HERE***
Welcome to the "Welcome Home" blog hop with the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team. This blog hop is dedicated to Lisa Norris, the owner of Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' designs/store who has just moved back to the United States after several years living abroad. Each member of the design team has used some of the PPPR files to create a project with the theme "Welcome Home". I decided to make a set of tags that could be used when giving a neighbor a gift or plate of cookies or something else like that. You should have arrived at my blog from Jeanne's blog. If you didn't start the hop from the beginning you can head over to Lisa's blog to start from the top. For my project, I used the "Home Sweet Home" cutting files, "Layered Tags 1" cutting files and the "Christmas Brights Circles & Spots" digital paper to create my project. I did a print and cut for my project using my Silhouette Cameo. On 3 of my tags I added some Sterling ribbon from 3 Girl Jam and the other 3 I used twine from My Mind's Eye.
There is also some yummy blog candy -
along with a $15.00 gift card to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store.
Thanks for stopping by today and hopping along with us. I am the last one on the hop so you have successfully made it to the end but just in case you missed a stop or want to go visit one of us again I have enclosed the entire blog hop list below -
