one sketch - 2 cards!! 3GJ dt

Hello there!! Today is my day up on the 3 Girl JAM blog and I have a couple of cards to share I made using the same sketch but different themes.

I used a sketch from Mojo Monday to create these cards.  On my Thanksgiving card, I used some Doodlebug "Friendly Forest" paper from the 6x6 pad.  I used cream ribbon from the  3 Girl JAM "Coffee Bundle" for my bow.  The cute little squirrel is from Create a Critter 2.

For my birthday card I used paper from My Mind's Eye "Hip Hip Hooray" and a piece of ephomera from the same collection for my accent.  This time I used some pink ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Ribbon Candy Bundle" for my bow.  

For both of my cards I used the 3 Girl JAM "Bow Maker" to make double bows which I glued onto the ribbon that I wrapped around the base layer of my card.

Thanksgiving Card - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  I am up on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog today and wanted to share my project with you here too.  I am still trying to finish up some fall projects before I dive into any more Christmas/winter ones.  The weather has gotten cold here so it definitely feels more like winter than fall but my calendar tells me otherwise.  I wanted to have one more Thanksgiving card on hand so this is what I came up with -

This is an A2 sized card folded at the top.  I used PPPR's "Pumpkin Spice Pattern Pack 1" digital paper for my background paper.  I used the PPPR "Thankful Titles 3" cutting files for my title. I added some cute little acorns using the PPPR "Acorn Faces" cutting files and omitting the layer with the smile face on it.  I finished off my card with some doodling using my white gel pen; gold skittles and some fall colored twine.  

Don't forget about the PPPR "Fall" challenge - I'd say my card fits in perfectly for this challenge :-)

Tealight Candle Card - CDD dt

Today is my turn to post on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog and I have a cute Christmas project to share with you today.  I used the "Winter Treats" stamp set and the "Say It Big" stamp set on this project.

For my card base I used a file from the Silhouette store - #67745 - it is actually a Halloween card but I used the reindeer image from the CDD "Winter Treats" set and cut him out using the free svg file and then colored him in with some spectrum noir markers.  The box was originally designed for candy but I was able to squeeze in 3 tealight candles after I took them out of their packaging.  I added a clear epoxy sticker over the "rudolph's spares" sentiment.  My bow was made using some 3 Girl JAM "Holly Berry" crinkle ribbon.

My sentiment is from  Craftin Desert Divas "Happy Celebrations" stamp set .  What a great sentiment stamp set this is - a sentiment for practically every holiday you can think of!!  I embossed mine with gold embossing powder to help make it pop and to keep with the fall colors.  My wine labels are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Bottle Tag 1" cutting files.  I added some stickers from my stash and used a gold gel pen to add some doodles.

I used PPPR's  "Thankful Titles 1" cutting files and PPPR's "Flourishes 2" cutting files  and a variety of colors of vinyl to decorate my fall colored charger.  I purchased the charger from Michaels.  The layering in this project was so easy and the charger inexpensive so this would make an economical gift for the holidays.

Fall Birthday Card - 3GJ dt

Today is my turn up on the 3 Girl JAM blog and I have a fall themed birthday card to share with you.  My mom's birthday is coming up this weekend and I wanted to make her a special card :-)  This is a rather large card - 6 inches square but I wanted lots of room for my design and embellishments.

I used some 3 Girl JAM "Halloween Harvest" crinkle ribbon from the Seasons Bundle along with my 3 Girl JAM bow maker to make a double bow.  I inserted a cute stick pin from Little Yellow Bicycle that I have had in my stash for awhile now but I loved how the wood grain went with the colors of my card.  I added a small bow made from the orange diagonal stripe ribbon to my teapot and again used my 3 Girl JAM bow maker to create this before gluing it in place.
