I made each of these baskets out of a 12 x 12 piece of paper. I made one similar to these last year and have a link in that post to a tutorial if you are interested, check it out HERE. I have some "requested goodies" to fill them with and will put them by their place at the dinner table for them to wake and find in the morning. Then it will be off to Easter service at church. Monday is my youngest daughter's birthday so I will need to transition gears quickly and begin to get ready for her birthday party. Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Easter!!
Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a blessed Easter! We are fortunate to be having beautiful spring weather and were able to do our Easter egg hunt outside today. We did our Easter dinner today so that we could celebrate with our extended family. Tomorrow I will give my daughters their Easter baskets. I decided to make them this year as they requested less junk in them so I did not need huge baskets to give.

PPPR Design Team day
Happy Wednesday my fellow bloggers!! This week is spring break so not only do my kids have the week off of school but my husband does too and I have time off from teaching dance which means a bit more time for crafting!! I want to take a moment to thank those of you who stopped by my blog over the weekend during the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Welcome Home" blog hop. Also, a welcome to my new followers - thank you for adding me to your blog list!
Today is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I chose to make an Easter card using the basket from the "Hoppy Easter" cutting files set. I turned the basket into a shaped card using my Silhouette Designer Edition software.

I also added a pink peep from the "My Peeps" cutting file set and hand-drew is face to look like a real peep. I added some Sunflower crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam and did some pen stitching to finish off my basket. The finished size is about 5". Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's projects over at the PPPR blog and also meet the newest additions to our design team.

PPPR "Welcome Home" Blog Hop
***for the Cardz TV Stamps' "Good Times" blog hop please go HERE***
Welcome to the "Welcome Home" blog hop with the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons design team. This blog hop is dedicated to Lisa Norris, the owner of Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' designs/store who has just moved back to the United States after several years living abroad. Each member of the design team has used some of the PPPR files to create a project with the theme "Welcome Home". I decided to make a set of tags that could be used when giving a neighbor a gift or plate of cookies or something else like that. You should have arrived at my blog from Jeanne's blog. If you didn't start the hop from the beginning you can head over to Lisa's blog to start from the top. For my project, I used the "Home Sweet Home" cutting files, "Layered Tags 1" cutting files and the "Christmas Brights Circles & Spots" digital paper to create my project. I did a print and cut for my project using my Silhouette Cameo. On 3 of my tags I added some Sterling ribbon from 3 Girl Jam and the other 3 I used twine from My Mind's Eye.
There is also some yummy blog candy -
along with a $15.00 gift card to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store.
Thanks for stopping by today and hopping along with us. I am the last one on the hop so you have successfully made it to the end but just in case you missed a stop or want to go visit one of us again I have enclosed the entire blog hop list below -

Cardz TV stamps "Good Times" blog hop
Times". This is a great set of stamp sentiments designed with birthday celebrations in mind but as with all of Cardz TV stamps' sets you are never limited to a specific use - let your imagination have fun!
I chose to make a birthday card for my project because it seems like I can never keep enough on hand. With 3 daughters, there is always some friend/classmate celebrating a birthday and the cards seem to fly right out the door once I have made them. I had not used my cricut in awhile and decided to pull out my all time favorite cartridge, Create a Critter.
You can purchase your own set of "Good Times" sentiments at the Cardz TV stamps store HERE. Your next stop for the "Good Times" hop is Jennifer's blog. Thanks for stopping by today!!

Die Cuttin' Divas Guest Designer
Today I have a cute Easter layout to share with you that I made for my appearance as guest designer over at the Die Cuttin' Divas challenge blog. The theme this challenge is to make a project with a bunny (or bunnies). I used the "Hoppy Easter" cutting file set from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons for all of my cuts. The patterned paper is from a Recollections paper pad. I lay down some paper for photo mats but didn't adhere them since I am not sure yet how many pictures I will actually be using for this layout.
Now it's your turn - create your "bunny" project and post it over at the Die Cuttin' Divas BLOG. Who doesn't love a bunny this time of year???

St. Patrick's Day Treat
Hope your weekend is off to a great start. I just wanted to pop in and share with you a treat I made to give to my girls for St. Patrick's Day. My oldest 2 are dancers and don't want a lot of "junk" so I chose gumballs instead. I found the rainbow gumballs at Target in the $1 bins. My shamrocks are made from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Shamrock Faces Cutting Files". I also used some green polka dotted digital paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Christmas Brights Circles and Spots" pack. I did an offset for my shamrock base, flipped and then welded them together to make the topper. I chalked the cheeks and glued onto the tops of the wrappers. Thanks for stopping by today!!

Birthday Cake Card - PPPR design team
Happy Wednesday!! It is design team day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I am sharing a card I made using the Birthday Panda cutting files set. I made this for my middle daughter's friend - she turned 16 last week :-) I love this set of files. I have used several of the cuts from this set - the panda, the cupcake, the candles and now this great cake shaped card.
I cut the base layer for the cake twice so as to reinforce the strength of the candle. My sentiment is from Cardz TV stamps "Simply Said" set and I added some sunflower ribbon from 3 Girl Jam. Don't forget to head over the the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog to see the rest of the design team's projects. And check out the newest release from Lisa - Hoppy Easter cutting files, aren't these adorable?!!

Here is my take on the inspiration photo -
I used a TAWS freebie for my sentiment and the TAWS stamp set "get the point" for all the pieces in my banner. My ribbon is "sunflower" from the 3 Girl Jam "harvest" bundle and I added a 3 Girl Jam vintage button in gray. I was inspired by the colors of the photo as well as the banner that went across the top of two of the little characters. I also used some wood grain paper at the bottom of my card which was inspired by the wood grains in the picture.
Your next stop on the hop is Kasia.
