Today is my turn to post over on the Jaded Blossom blog and I have a fun card to share -

I just love these fish from the "Make Waves" stamp set!!  I colored them up in the same color scheme using my copic markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I found some Doodlebug papers that matched my color scheme and used both the "Card Mat Dies" (this is my most often used JB die!!) along with the "Border Dies 2" (for my ocean floor) to create my background layer.  I popped the background layer up on fun foam and both my fish are popped up with foam tape to give my card some more dimension.

Bridal Shower Card - SAT dt

Hello there!! I am over on the Stamp Anniething Blog today with a wedding inspired card to share with you.  

I have a very special bridal shower coming up and wanted a special card for the bride to be!!  I created this for my middle daughter who is getting married in less than a month.  I tried to use her wedding color scheme for my card.   The sweet bride image is "Eloise - congratulations".   I tried to add a little bit of sparkle to her using some stickles.   Here is another view so you can see the shimmer ;)

The beautiful paper and flowers are from Recollections and I used a couple of Jaded Blossom products too -

Jaded Blossom June Release Day 5

Today is Day 5 of the Jaded Blossom June Release and we are doing sneak peeks for two new stamp sets -

Mew Did It

Kitty Faces (freebie for this release)

For my project I used the "Gable Box Die" and cut out some polka dot paper.  I wanted my box to be open so I cut the front flap off and actually glued it to the back one since my paper was not double sided.  This also serves to make the back a bit sturdier.  I stamped the kitty image from "Mew Did It" and used a face from the "Kitty Faces" stamp set.  Lastly I stamped a sentiment from the "Mew Did It" stamp set onto a tag which I cut using the "Mini Tag Dies 3".

I found some fun fish candy at the grocery store and shoved  placed them into a "2.25 x 8 inch clear bag"   I stamped the fish image and a sentiment from "Make Waves" and colored the fish in with copic markers.  I used the "Fancy Topper Die" to create a topper for my treat bag.  I also used the "Mini Tags 3" die set to stamp my sentiment on.

To create my card for today I started off coloring in a few of the images from the "Birthday Bandit" set.  I then created the background for my card.  I used the "Border Dies 2" to create a template and then using some distress ink I created a sky background on some Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper.  I cut that out with the "Card Mat Dies".  I also created some grassy hills using the "Border Dies 2" and the "Card Mat Dies".  The balloons are cut using the "Balloon Dies" and the sentiment is also from the "Birthday Bandit" set.

I also used the Luggage Tag Dies for my project today.  I colored the cute sloth from the Take It Slow stamp set and also used one of the sentiments from the same set.  I stamped the sentiment on a word bubble from the new Word Bubble Dies.  Thought this chocolate bar would make a perfect treat for someone needing a little encouragement ;)

For today's card I colored in "Madison" and used the unicorn tail and head for her pool floatie.  I also used a few dies from the "Palm Tree Dies".  My water background is created with distress inks and the "Wave Edge Stencil".  I also used a few Jaded Blossom products on my card - "Stitched Circle Dies" and "Card Mat Dies".
