I had this picture in my mind to create this card for awhile now.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products on my cards -

There are just a few slight differences between the two cards.

I added my sentiment to the inside of the card and also added a few more die cuts.

How are things in your neck of the woods?? 

We have been in a heat wave over here on the West Coast - 110 degrees yesterday!!

I saw it as a perfect opportunity to hunker down in the air conditioned house and craft!!

Today I have a card to share that I recently created for a sweet coworker that is moving.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products on today's card -

It's never easy to say goodbye to a sweet coworker!!

She definitely sparkles and this sentiment was perfect for her!!

Here's what I've created for you today...

I created a shaker card for today's blog hop.  I used an image and a sentiment from the "Chill Out" stamp set.  I cut out the image using the "Chill Out" SVG outline set that is free.  I colored in the cute little penguin with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I cut my oval out using my Silhouette Cameo and then popped that card layer up with some fun foam.  I filled my shaker with some new sequins in the CDD Store - "snow palace".  I added a bow made from some 3 Girl JAM ribbon and then scattered a few enamel dots from my stash on the front and finally, finished it off with some pen stitching.

Hello there - today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons BLOG.  I have a thank you card to share with  -

I created my card using the following PPPR cutting files -

"Dress Form" cutting files
"Mother's Day Card" cutting files

I also pulled out a paper pad I have been hoarding for awhile now - Simple Stories "Vintage Bliss" 6x6 paper pad - and used that for all of my patterned paper.  I am so pleased with how my card turned out and love that dress form cutting file that was recently released.  Here is another view :-)

Flower Basket - CDD dt

Hi there, today is my turn to share on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG.   Today I wanted to share with you a cute little flower basket I made to house some goodies for one of my daughter's good friends.

I have had this silhouette file in my library for a little while now and have been looking for an opportunity to make it.  I resized it as large as I could - in fact I had to turn the file at an angle on my virtual mat to get it this big but I wanted to be able to fit a lot of "girlie goodies" inside :-)  Since our gift is a little late I chose to use the belated birthday sentiment from CDD's "Totally Turtle" stamp set.  I stamped my sentiment onto a tag from CDD's "Tag It" svg set and then stamped the coordinating tag frame from the " Tag It" stamp set.

For the finishing touch, I added some sequins from "Butterfly Wishes" and "Pretty Petals".  In the center of my sequins I added a drop of liquid pearls to cover the hole.  My bow was made using some ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

For my "summer"themed project I decided to create these cute sand pail shaped boxes and use them for end of the school year teacher thank yous.  Our school year ends mid June so I thought these would be a perfect way for my youngest daughter to take some treats to her teachers.  I have had this silhouette file for awhile now and was looking for an opportunity to use it.

Since these are thank you gifts for teachers I chose to use a sentiment from the CDD "Hey Pumpkin" stamp set.  The sand pail is a file from the silhouette online store - id#62453  I also used the CDD "Banner" die set to cut out stars from kraft cardstock and stuck them on the shovels to look like starfish.

All of my ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  I created my sand by tearing cardstock and then adding some diamond stickles to the top edge.  I inked the sand and the stars with  Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.

My sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas' "Simply Said" set.  I also used a tag image from the Craftin Desert Divas' "Tag It" set.  I used the Tag It svg set and did an offset on it for the pink background for my tag/sentiment.  The treat box is from the Silhouette online store - id# 50520.  I finished my box with some 3 Girl JAM ribbon and hot glued a heart gem to the center of the bow.
