Kick Up Your Heels - PPPR DT

Hello there!! I hope you are having an enjoyable Labor Day weekend and perhaps even getting some crafty time in :-)  Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG.   I was able to get in a bit of crafty time in between coats of paint as I am painting my laundry room this weekend.  I have wanted to use the "Cowboy Boot Card" cutting file ever since it hit the PPPR store so I decided to use it to make a feminine cowboy boot card.

It was so easy to put this card together and so fun to use some feminine colors to create it with.  I had the perfect sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps ("Country At Heart" stamp set) and I love that
it leaves the option open to use this card for all sorts of occasions!!

Now if I only had me a pair of REAL pink cowboy boots - I think I could really kick up my heels!!
Thanks for stopping by today!!

Thanks SEW much!! - PPPR dt

Hello there - today is my turn to post on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons BLOG.  I have a thank you card to share with  -

I created my card using the following PPPR cutting files -

"Dress Form" cutting files
"Mother's Day Card" cutting files

I also pulled out a paper pad I have been hoarding for awhile now - Simple Stories "Vintage Bliss" 6x6 paper pad - and used that for all of my patterned paper.  I am so pleased with how my card turned out and love that dress form cutting file that was recently released.  Here is another view :-)

I also used some ribbon from 3 Girl JAM and a sentiment from CARDZ TV Stamps.    Join me back here this weekend for a fun PPPR blog hop -

I am entering my card in the following challenges -

Thanks a Latte - 3GJ dt

I am here today with my last post as a design team member for 3 Girl JAM.  I have had the privilege of serving on this design team for almost 2 years now and I have enjoyed every moment of it!!  However, I felt the end of this term was a good time for me to step aside and allow some other talented crafters a chance at working with this fabulous company.  So, with that said, let me share with you a card I made for my post today -

I used one of the newer products to the 3 Girl JAM store - "Simply White Lace" - as a border and then topped it off with a double bow using some Sterling Crinkle Ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Celebrations" bundle.  I used my 3 Girl JAM bow maker to create my double bow and then hot glued a snowflake gem to the top of it.  I used a sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps' "Brew Ha Ha" set. My "latte" is from the Silhouette store - id#50990.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

A Witchy Hi - PPPR dt

Happy Monday my fellow bloggers!!  Today I have a halloween card to share with you for my design team post for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

I used PPPR's "Little Witches Cutting Files" for my cute witch flying on her broom.  I added some dimension to my card by popping up some clouds that I made using PPPR's "Happy Rainbow Cutting Files".  I love this designer paper - it is from a stack by Doodlebug ( I think the name of the stack was Seasons or something like that).  I finished it off with sequins, chalk for her rosy cheeks, pen stitching and a sentiment from Cardz TV Stamps "Oct 31st" set.  For more Halloween inspiration, please join the PPPR design team this Saturday, Oct. 11th for the "Trick or Treat" blog hop.
Thanks for stopping by today!!

Ballerina Thank You #2 - 3GJ dt

Today I have another ballerina thank you card to share with you that I made using some wonderful 3 Girl JAM products.  I used "grey gray" crinkle ribbon from the 3GJ "LG" bundle to make a ribbon and glued a rhinestone gem in the center. At the bottom corner of my card I attached a flower that I made with some 3GJ "distressed lace" and glued a 3GJ vintage button in the center of it.  Again this card was made to thank some of the wonderful people who helped make it possible for my daughter and I to go to a dance intensive in Texas recently.

The stamp I used is an old rubber stamp from D.O.T.S. (pre-close to my heart).  I am still working on my coloring skills with copics and spectrum noir markers.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Ticket Talk".  Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to use code NE10 to receive an additional 10% off of your 3 Girl JAM purchases.

Birthday Cupcake Shaker Card - PPPR dt

Happy Cinco de Mayo folks!!  Today is my day to post for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I have a birthday card to share with you that I made for my oldest daughter's birthday last week.  I decided to be fancy and make a shaker card too since it is for a special person :-)

I used the cupcake from the PPPR Birthday Critters Cutting files for my cupcake.  I created an offset and welded it to my "window" frame.  I attached acetate to the back of that and then put foam tape all around the edges of the frame.  I sprinkled in some micro beads and sequins and then attached my card base to my window frame.  I used a very heavy white cardstock for my card base so that it would hold the weight of the window frame better.  I finished my card off with some 3 Girl JAM "Baby Girl" crinkle ribbon and a sentiment from the "Make a Wish" set from Cardz TV Stamps.  The enamel dots are homemade from perler beads I melted and I blinged up the flame of the candle with diamond stickles.

Springtime Hugs - 3 Girl JAM dt

Today for my 3 Girl JAM design team project I have an Easter card to share using some fabulous 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon.  I used the "sunflower" ribbon from the 3 Girl JAM "Harvest Bundle".

I am not sure where my digi is from as I have had it for awhile now.  I used my copics, spectrum noirs and Bic Mark Its to color it.  I am just starting my collection of alchohol markers.  I used Doodlebug "Springtime" collection for my background paper.  My sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Think Spring" set.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Don't forget about the current challenge going on at the 3 Girl JAM challenge blog - "All Things Spring".  For more info on the challenge and to link up your project please go here.

Kite and Clouds Shaker Card - PPPR dt

Happy Monday, today I want to share a shaker card I made.  I have been so inspired by my PPPR dt sister Brianna's shaker cards and wanted to give the shaker card phenomenon a try so here is what I came up with -

I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Kite and Clouds" cutting files set for my kite and cloud cut outs.  I created a shadow for my kite to make it a bit sturdier so that I could pop it up on foam dots.  I used the negative cut for the clouds.  I backed the designer paper with acetate and then used foam tape to pop that layer off the card base so that I could insert the sequins.  I love the way it turned out!!
