Here's what I've created for you today...

 I created this card using the "Under the Sea" stamps and die set for my fish and plants.  The birthday hats came from the "Sweet Wishes" stamp set (I fussy cut the hats out).  I created my waves using the "Outdoor Landscape Dies".  I picked out some clear blue sequins from the "Star Power" sequins and glued them to my waves.  I created my sky background using some distress ink and a sky template I created with my Silhouette Cameo.

  

 My 2nd project for the hop is a set of 3x3 mini notecards.  I used the "Sweet Wishes" stamp set for my image and sentiment.  My background paper is from Doodlebug's 6x6 "Sugar Shoppe" paper pad.

Day 3 CDD June Stamp Release Sneak Peeks

Today is Day 3 of the Sneak Peeks for Craftin Desert Divas' June Stamp Release.  I am so excited for this release - so many cute stamps!!  I am sure you are going to love them too!!    We have 7 new stamp sets (3 - 4x6 stamps & 4 - 2x3 stamps) and 3 die sets.

Today we are showcasing the "Under the Sea" stamp and die set!!

The CDD design team is using our Facebook pages to showcase the sneak peeks of this stamp release so please visit the CDD Facebook page to begin the Sneak Peek lineup.

Here is my project -

I used both an image and a sentiment from the "Under the Sea" stamp set along with a coordinating die from the "Under the Sea" die set.  To create my tag I used the CDD "Tag Essentials Dies".

Here is my project for the linky party -

I created my banner using the CDD "Banner Dies" - I used both sizes of the banner shape along with the stitched oval and stitched star.  I used some pre-cut alphabet letters I had in my stash.  I stamped a sentiment from the CDD "Happy Celebrations" stamp set and added a cut apart from the Doodlebug 6x6 "Patriotic Picnic" paper pad.  I used some of the CDD "Freedom Sequins" to embellish my banner and then strung it up with some crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.

Happy 4th of July - PPPR dt

Happy Monday and a big thank you for those of you who visited during the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Totally Awesome 80's" blog hop this past weekend!!  Today  I am sharing a Fourth of July shaker card I created -


I used the "Star Spangled Card" cutting files from Pretty Paper,Pretty Ribbons to create my card. I did a little bit of tweaking with the file to create the shaker portion of the card - involved some welding, cutting, pasting, ungrouping, etc. . . let's just say it took  me several attempts to actually create what I saw in my mind but I am quite pleased with the outcome.

Flower Basket - CDD dt

Hi there, today is my turn to share on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG.   Today I wanted to share with you a cute little flower basket I made to house some goodies for one of my daughter's good friends.

I have had this silhouette file in my library for a little while now and have been looking for an opportunity to make it.  I resized it as large as I could - in fact I had to turn the file at an angle on my virtual mat to get it this big but I wanted to be able to fit a lot of "girlie goodies" inside :-)  Since our gift is a little late I chose to use the belated birthday sentiment from CDD's "Totally Turtle" stamp set.  I stamped my sentiment onto a tag from CDD's "Tag It" svg set and then stamped the coordinating tag frame from the " Tag It" stamp set.

For the finishing touch, I added some sequins from "Butterfly Wishes" and "Pretty Petals".  In the center of my sequins I added a drop of liquid pearls to cover the hole.  My bow was made using some ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

PPPR "Totally Awesome 80's" blog hop

I created a 12x12 scrapbook layout using some photos I had of my youngest daughter's 4th grade play.  The play was "All The World's a Stage" and her classroom was assigned the 1980's.  Perfect for today's blog hop!! To create my layout I used the following PPPR cutting files -

CDD Sequin Sale

Hello my fellow crafty bloggers!!  I just wanted to pop in and share a card and a great sale with you today.  I created my shaker card using one of the new sets of sequins from Craftin Desert Divas - "Pixie Dust".  

I also used the following products from Craftin Desert Divas to make my card -

Here is my project for the linky party -

I created my background paper using one of the stamps from the CDD "Little Super Star" stamp set.  I stamped it with Versamark ink and then used some clear embossing powder and set it with my heat gun.  The superman emblem is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' "Super mom and dad" cutting files.  I tweaked it a bit in my silhouette design program. I then stamped a sentiment from the CDD "Little Super Star" stamp set onto vellum and embossed it with white embossing powder.  I used some star brads to adhere the vellum to my card.

I really had a lot of fun putting this card together and using the stamps from this set in a variety of different ways.  This stamp set could seem feminine but as you can see here I was able to use it to create a masculine card.  It's fun to take a look at your stamps and challenge yourself to use them in new ways, isn't it?  You can purchase this stamp set HERE
