Happy Monday my crafty friends!! Today is my turn to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog -

For some reason June has got me feeling the strawberry vibes!!  For my last JB project I created a strawberry treat bag and this go around I am using strawberries again, LOL!!  The two make a fabulous set by the way!!  For my card today I used the following Jaded Blossom products -

Card Mat Dies

Fruit Dies

Go Bananas

Spring Dies

I added some clear gems to the centers of the white flowers and then colored the gems with a Copic marker so that the flowers matched the paper.

Have a Magical Day - SAT dt

Hello my crafty friends!!  Today is my turn to share over on the Stamp Anniething Blog.

I was inspired by the recent "Magical Celebrations Grab and Go Box" as I wanted to play with both the new "Magical Window Die" and the Stamp Anniething Yupo paper.  This card has a couple of firsts for me - it is my first time doing no-line coloring and it is my first time playing with alcohol inks and yupo paper.  Stamp Anniething has several princess inspired stamps that would be fun to pair with many of the elements of the "Magical Celebrations Grab and Go Box".  I chose to use "Giselle - For a Princess".  The sentiment is also from the "Magical Celebrations Grab and Go Box".  This card could be used for several special occasions but I have it in mind for an upcoming bridal shower :-)  I used some metallic paper leftover from the "Conquer the World Grab and Go Box" to cut out the window die.  The background behind the window was created with alcohol inks and yupo paper.

Strawberry Box - JB dt

Hello there!!  Today is my turn to share on the Jaded Blossom Blog and I have a fun summer inspired project  -

I have wanted to create this strawberry shaped box from the Silhouette Store for awhile now and I finally have the perfect sentiment to go with it!! I am just loving the recently released "Go Bananas" stamp set!!  I used the "Mini Tag Dies 3" (another one of my favorite sets!) to stamp my sentiment onto and then added a bit of a wave to the tag and glued it onto my box.

Stamp Anniething June Release Day 3

We are now entering into June and half the year is over!  Summer is upon us and kids will be home for vacation!  We wanted to get you in the mood for those warm summer days outside in the sun, so here is our adorable June release!

Meet our newest boy stamp, Mitchell!  He is all ready to go right in and catch a wav at the beach!  How cute with his little shark tooths necklace???

I had a lot of fun making the background for this card!!  First of all, let me tell you how amazing the new blending brushes are!!  I used one along with 2 different hybrid inks (Carribean Sea and Aure) and the wave edge stencil. I masked off a border around my top layer using painters tape.  The image and the sentiment are from today's sneak peek - "Mitchell".  I used the coordinating die to cut out my image and then trimmed up the edge of the surf board so it would be flush with my waves.

Stamp Anniething June Release Day 2

We are now entering into June and half the year is over!  Summer is upon us and kids will be home for vacation!  We wanted to get you in the mood for those warm summer days outside in the sun, so here is our adorable June release!

Here is Lana, our little Hula Girl.... how cute would she be on an action wobble???

I used the "Starburst" add on shaker front die along with the Shaker Basics Set 2 to create the shaker portion of my card.  I filled the shaker with the retro squares orange and yellow sequins along with the new lemon adornments.  I colored in Lana using my Copic markers and cut her out with the coordinating die.  I finished up my card using the two tone citrus bright twine and a fun sun and clouds charm - all new this release!!

Stamp Anniething June Release Day 1 sneak peeks

We are now entering into June and half the year is over!  Summer is upon us and kids will be home for vacation!  We wanted to get you in the mood for those warm summer days outside in the sun, so here is our adorable June release!

Here is Krissy, back again for some more summer fun!  This time she is just chillin' and relaxing in her hammock!

Today we also release an ADD ON shaker front die, Starburst and the Sunshine Word die.  We also have these adorable new stencil, Abstract Sun!

For today's sneak peek I used the new "Abstract Sun" stencil along with 3 colors of Stamp Anniething Hybrid Inks - Aspen Gold, Freesia and Tangerine and one of the new blending brushes to create my background.  I colored the image of "Krissy" with my Copic markers and cut her out using the coordinating die.  To complete the background I cut out the palm trees using the Palm Tree Dies and created a sand dune using the Land of Oz Dies (I get a lot of use out of this die set and the price point is so fabulous!!).  Lastly I added a white border strip around my card edge using a die from the Conquer the World Grab and Go Box.
