Candy Bar Wrapper Thank You

Happy Tuesday my fellow bloggers!  Today is the last day of school for all 3 of my girls.  I am excited for summer and the break from our crazy school routine but it is also bittersweet because it is an ending - the end of 4th grade, 9th grade and 11th grade.  Okay, enough emotion, let's get on to the good stuff - the cute project I made as a thank you for one of my students who has so graciously driven my oldest daughter to many of her dance classes and performances.  It freed up a lot of time for me and I am so grateful.  I used an svg file from SVG Cuts to make this but there is also a tutorial at Scor pal which doesn't require a cutting machine.  I used a sentiment from Cardz TV stamp set "FAQ"'s.  The flower is a Lori Wick file I bought from the Silhouette store.    I used several embossing folders, some pink pearls spritz and a pencil to shape and texture my flower.  The frame for the sentiment was leftover from an old Christmas paper pack, LOL!  I used velcro to close my wrapper and enclosed a candy bar and gift card.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you!!

Wish Big Happy Birthday

Hello fellow bloggers!!  I hope you are having a great Memorial Day weekend.  The weather has been cooperative here - no rain, sure I wish it was sunnier but I am grateful it isn't raining as our family has been outside a lot.  Saturday we ran a fun run 5k/10k at my hubby's work.  On top of that my youngest daughter has had 4 soccer games this weekend for a tournament she is playing in.  I wanted to share with you a card I made for our neighbor girl who recently turned 4.  I used the bubble svg freebie file from SVG Cuts and a rectangle from scal 3 to create this card.  The sentiments are from a Scrappy Moms set.  Most of the paper came from my scrap stash:-)

Christmas Cardinal Card - SVG Cuts

This card was made using a free svg file from SVG Cuts.  It matched this great Christmas paper I must have picked up last year so I just had to put the two together:-)  I used some more of my hand dyed crinkle ribbon.  I am really having fun experimenting with that stuff!!  The sentiment is from CardzTV's "Home for Christmas" stamp set.

I am entering this in the following challenges-
