CDD June Release Inspiration Showcase day 4

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Craftin Desert Divas Day 4 of our June Release Inspiration Showcase! For the next few days we are going to highlight our new products by sharing the fabulous Design Team's projects for each stamp set that was just released!

I created a card using the larger of the frames to cut out my gingham paper.  I also used the flower dies from this set to cut out the flowers that are in the corners of my card.  My stamped images and sentiment are from the "Farm Living" stamp set and the "Punny Farm" stamp set.  I also used a die from the "Pocket Pieces HI Dies"

CDD June Release Inspiration Showcase Day 3

Today we are showcasing "Greeting Word Dies" and "Tiny Sentiments" stamp set.

I created a card using both of these new sets along with the "Botanical Layers" stamp set . I did a bit of masking to stamp my images and used 3 different ink colors for each flower. I used Memento dye based inks for all of my flowers. I cut my word die out 3x and glued the layers together to give it a bit of dimension.

 I cut my top layer smaller in the width than my cardbase and popped it up on fun foam. I added some black heart designer paper on my base card and offset my top layer so that the black paper strip showed on the left side. I finished my card off with some "Fairy Dust Sequins" .

CDD June Product Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to the CDD June Product Release Blog Hop.

We also offer SVG stamp outlines for .99 they work perfectly with your cutting machine. You must have a program that opens these files. This is a great alternative to coordinating dies and much less expensive. 


New $1.00 sequins....

Here's what I've created for you...

For my first card I used some images from the "Peek A Boo Animals" stamp set.  I created my windows using a die from the "Pocket Pieces Hello Dies" and did my best to cut 3 windows evenly spaced.  I popped that layer up on foam tape and added in my animals peeking out of the windows.  I used the new "Greeting Word Dies" and cut out the word thanks 3x - twice in black, once in gold and then glued the layers together slightly offsetting the gold layer.  My sentiment is from the new "Tiny Sentiments" stamp set which goes perfectly with the new word dies!

For my second card I used the new "Crazy Stitched Frame Dies" and using the largest die in the set cut out some watercolor paper.  I watercolored a simple background.  The rest of my images along with my sentiment are from "The Sky Is the Limit" stamp set and after I colored them in I cut them out with the coordinating dies.

To create my card I used the following CDD products -

I started off by making a "mask" to create the rectangle area on my card.  I used a rectangle die from Pocket Pieces HI dies and cut out an opening on a scrap piece of cardstock.  I taped that down over my watercolor paper.  I then stamped my image from the Build a Scene 2 stamp set (did some masking on that too) with Versafine black onyx ink.  I used my Zig Clean Color real brush markers to color in my image and create my background.  To finish up my card I die cut it using the Fancy Frame Dies, stamped my sentiment from the Happy Celebrations stamp set and then popped that layer up with some fun foam onto my card base.

Wish Upon A Star - CDD dt

Hello again!!  I am up again on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG today and I have another card to share with you - 

I pulled out some older stamp sets to play around with this time.  I used a lot of mini stamp sets on this card.  Here is the list of what I used to create this -

To create my card I started by coloring in my images using my Spectrum Noir markers.  I had previously cut the images out using the coordinating SVG files and stamped them so they were all ready to be colored in.  I created the focal point of my card by cutting the smaller scalloped circle in the top layer of my card.  I glued the sand colored paper that I had cut with the Outdoor Landscape Dies behind my scalloped opening.  I popped this layer up with foam tape.  I then added in my colored images.  Finally I stamped my sentiment onto my banner and glued it to my card.  

All of my designer paper is from the "Under the Sea" 6x6 paper pad.

Heartfelt Thanks- Ballerina Bunny digi stamp

Today is my turn to post over on the Craftin Desert Divas' BLOG.  I am sharing a thank you card I made using one of the newer Craftin Desert Divas Digital Stamps - "Ballerina Bunny digital stamp".   As soon as this stamp was added to the store, I knew I needed it!!  I am a dance teacher and I needed to send a thank you card to some people who helped with our dance recital recently.  This digital stamp was just the inspiration I needed to create this card -

I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color this little cutie and then added some Wink of Stella clear shimmer on top of the crown and hearts.  To help the swirls "pop" more I went over them with my Stardust gel pen.  I cut my image layer out and the background layer using the Craftin Desert Divas "Fancy Frame Dies", adhered them and then popped them up with some craft foam.  I added flowers, heart shaped paper clip, gingham ribbon and a ballerina button - all from my craft stash.  Finally I stamped my sentiment using the "Simply Said" stamp set.  My card is 5 1/2 inches square - large enough to fit several signatures inside ;)  Here's another look -
