So this time around Mary challenged the design team to create a card or project using pink as your primary color. Again, this challenge is open to everyone and Mary will be giving away a Cardz TV stamp set of your choice to the lucky winner. I chose to make a card based off of a card I saw on pinterest as inspiration. You can see that card here. I used some scraps to create my card and even did a bit of sewing on my card. The heart tag is from Cricut Classic Font and my sentiments are from Cardz TV Stamp set "Be My Valentine". The cute ribbon is from American Crafts and I put a few adhesive gems on for some bling:-)
Head on over to Cardz TV to see the rest of the design team's projects and to enter a project in the challenge.

Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #3 - "The Three R's"
So for this challenge, Mary challenged the design team to create a project using one of her stamp sets and one or all of the "three R's" - ribbon, rick rack and rhinestones. I love challenges because they get me out of my comfort zone. I used this challenege as an opportunity to try out a file created for the Silhouette. Thanks to Nia for your great owl file!!
I used CardzTV's "Ticket Talk" stamp set for my sentiments on the front and inside of the card. Make sure you head over to Cardz TV blog to see how the rest of the design team tackled this challenge. You will definitely find inspiration from all of these talented ladies!! Also, Mary is inviting you to join us in this challenge and she will be giving away a set of her great stamps too!!

DtsArt Design Team - Gift Card Holders
Well, this is our last project for this term of the DtsArt design team. I have really enjoyed working with Dardi's files - they are so user friendly!! This week we have an assortment of gift card holders, just in time for your last minute Christmas shopping, huh:-)
Aren't those cute gift card holders!! You can pick up the file for these at DtsArt. Remember these aren't Cricut files per say. They are svg files but they also come in Make the Cut format and Scal format too.
***Included with your files is a text file with the accurate sizes. Please refer to this because different programs open the files up in different sizes. I use Scal 2 and it always opens my files up at a different size. I learned this through trial and error:-) So to make sure you are cutting out what was originally intended, always refer to the text file that comes with your purchase.***
Please head over to DtsArt Blog to see how the rest of the design team decorated theirs:-)

Reindeer Christmas Card
I made this card specifically for the Pumpkin Spice Shop Design Team Call. I had this card idea in my head ever since I went through my Christmas paper stash and rediscovered this piece of paper from My Mind's Eye "Believe" paper pack. I also used some Doodlebug Christmas twine and a Christmas stamp from My Pink Stamper.
This paper makes me smile:-) I made another card with this paper too and really enjoyed how they both turned out.

DtsArt Blog Hop - a trip down memory lane
We are finishing up our term with Dardi's design team by having a blog hop. We are calling it a trip down memory lane and are revisiting our favorite project from this term. You should have arrived here from Dardi's blog.
To be honest, I don't know if I have a favorite project because there were so many great svg's to work with. For today, I am going to share with you the rest of my post it note holders. I made a few when we showcased the post it note holder the first time but I had originally planned that I would make enough for my coworkers at the dance studio - a total of 12. Here are the final products -
I packaged them up in cellophane bags and used a Cardz TV stamp from the "Home For Christmas" set. Of course, I threw in some candy:-)
What would be a blog hop without some blog candy:-) I have for you a choice of either the post it note svg or this cute digi stamp from DtsArt -
Good luck!! Here is the line up:
Dardi: DtsArt Blog
Nicole: Teachdanz
Ruth: My Hobby=My Art
Tanya: My Little Craft Corner
Christina: Christina's Creative Corner
Stacie: Hestia's Helper

Cardz TV Design Team's 1st Challenge - Just My Style
T.G.I.F.!! Today is the first post for Cardz TV's new design team. Our first project is to present "our style". I am not completely sure what my "style" is but I know what it isn't, lol!! I do like to keep things neat and fairly easy but I like to mix up the direction of my card. I typically use an A2 sized card for my projects and include some embossing, ribbon, bling, glitter and gel pen doodling.
For today's card I used the cut from Winter Frolic and cut it at 3". I used an embossing border from Provo Craft. The ribbon is one of my first attempts at making my own crinkle ribbon. The pearls are from Recollections. My background paper is an oldie from my stash and the cardstock is all Recollections. My sentiment is from Cardz TV stamp set "Home For Christmas".
Make sure you head over to Cardz TV to check out all of the design team's projects and get to know their style. Mary is offering some blog candy too - a stamp set from Cardz TV!! I really am blessed to be working with this talented group of ladies:-) They inspire me to grow and challenge myself in my creativity and they are also so sweet and caring!!

Inking It Up Crazy Design Team Project - "Fun Fold Card"
This week Kassidy challenged her design team to try a new card fold for our project. I decided to try a side step card and followed the tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers. The card itself is not too difficult to make but the decorating of it was a bit more time consuming. However, I feel it was time well spent (it is afterall my "therapy" time:-) and I am quite pleased with the end result. All of my cuts are from Simply Charmed and I used a stamp from My Pink Stamper. The designer paper is from last year's Target dollar bin paper. I embellished it with Christmas twine from Doodlebug and some bling.
Don't forget to head over to Kassidy's blog to see the rest of the design team's projects. Also, challenge yourself to try a new card fold - it is always fun to try something new and creatively satisfying too:-)

DtsArt Design Team Day - Keurig cup projects
I think this is soooo clever!! I haven't seen anything like this before so this was really fun to try!! You do need to have empty Keurig cups for this file but if you ask around people are usually willing to share:-) at least it worked for me!! I used the file as a pilgrim's hat but one of the design team members had a completely different take on it so make sure you head over to DtsArt blog to check out the rest of the team's projects.
I am planning on using these for Thanksgiving and will probably fill them with mints for after dinner.
To buy this file click here
**couple of hints for putting these together**
-use red sticky tape, Zip dry was messy:-(
-test cut on some cheap cardstock (I recommend the white package from walmart) because we found there is some variation in the Keurig cup sizes
-if you have any problems feel free to contact me or Dardi
I am entering this in the following challenges-
Whimsical Wednesday - create a Thanksgiving card/project
My Craft Spot -gobble til you wobble

DtsArt Design Team Day - candy holders
This week the design team got to work with a candy holder svg file. This is a perfect project for all of the upcoming holidays and very simple to make. You will have fun seeing how each of us design team girls added our own little touch to this project. I am always inspired by my colleagues at DtsArt and I hope you will be too:-)
The first box will hold several pieces of candy or even a small cookie would work too. I chose to make a belly band and decorated it with a rosette.
The second box would work great with Ghiradelli chocolate squares but I didn't have any so I used the second best thing - Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Oh do I love those:-) I added some perfect pears around the edge and a couple of roses and voila! a pretty package with a yummy treat -
Make sure you head on over to Dtsart blog to see what the rest of the design team did with these files. Also check out DtsArt.com to purchase them for yourself!!

I made this cute shoe to resemble a witch's shoe. It will hold a small bag of goodies on the inside of it. I did a little inking along the edges with my black stamp pad. Head on over to Kassidy's blog to see what the rest of the design team created for their halloween treats:-)
This great purple paper was from a Studio G pack I got at Walmart. I am also going to enter this into the following challenges -
My Craft Spot - 3D halloween
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - challenge #82, create a project with purple and a bug or monster on it
