Have a Tee-rific birthday!! - PPPR dt

Happy Memorial Day!  Today is my turn to share over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and well, I really should have done a project honoring all of the great people who have served to make our country as great as it is BUT  I did make a card honoring my hubby cuz his birthday was yesterday!!

I mean seriously - I just had to use these cute new golf files Lisa recently created!!  My hubby loves to golf so I thought this would make a perfect birthday card for him ;)  My card is a 5x7 sized card.  I was able to piece together a few different stamp sentiments from my collection to create the perfect sentiment on the card.

Hippo Birdie - CDD dt

Hello there!!  I hope your week is going well so far,  Today is my turn to post over on the Craftin Desert Divas BLOG and I have a couple of fun birthday tags to share with you :-)  To create my tags, I mixed and matched some old and new CDD products - 

Here is a closer look - 

I like keeping tags on hand to slide into a gift bag - sometimes they are a quick "grab and go" item as we rush out of the house on the way to a party.  (I am sure that never happens to you - wink! wink!)

To create my tags I used one of my favorite CDD mini stamp sets - "Hippo Birdie".  I stamped and colored everything and then fussy cut my little guys out and popped them up on my tags with some foam tape.  To create my tags I used the "Tag It" stamp set and coordinating "Tag It" SVG file.   I stamped the outline of my tag using Momento "LuLu Lavendar" ink.  I finished off my card by embossing my sentiment in white (I masked off the part I didn't want to stamp) and then using the new "Flag Banner Dies" to cut it out.

Monster Birthday Card - PPPR dt

Happy Monday!!  Today is my turn to post over on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' BLOG and I have a monster-iffic birthday card to share with you!!  I created this card for my nephew ;)

I used "Little Monsters 2" cutting files for my monster and "Happy Bird-Day" cutting files for my balloon.  I popped my little monster up on some foam tape and then adhered him to a white panel backed with some black cardstock.  I then popped that layer up on some more foam and popped it up (offsetting it a bit) onto my card base.  I adhered a strip of blue striped paper to the left side of my card base before adhering the top layer.

Here's what I've created for you...

I created my first card using images from the new "Prickly" stamp set.  I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and watercolored my images and the background too.  I cut my background out using "Fancy Frames Dies".  My sentiment is from the "This and That" stamp set.  I adhered some sequins from the "Skyfall" and "Comet" collections.

For my second card I again used the "Fancy Frames Dies" to cut out my background.  I used several distress inks and blended them to create my background color.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut my images using the new "Build A Scene 2" stamp set.  I popped my little bee up on some foam tape.  I added sequins from the "Skyfall" collection.  My sentiment is from the "Say It Big" stamp set.

PPPR May Inspiration Facebook Hop

Here is the project I created for the hop - 

I created a Project Life type layout using the "Basketball Jersey cutting files" ; the "Basketball Hoop cutting files",  and the "Basketball Phrases cutting files". I used stickers to notate the final score of the game on the appropriate jerseys.
