Die Cuttin Divas Guest Designer - "Anything Goes"

Hi there!!  Today I get to be the guest designer over at the "Die Cuttin' Divas" blog.  The theme for this week's challenge is Anything Goes.  I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to use one of the million (slight exaggeration, LOL!) files I have purchased from the Silhouette Online Store.  

This file is a Lori Whitlock file and can probably also be purchased from her store in SVG form for those who don't have a Silhouette machine.  Here is the file I used from the Silhouette store - #131498.  This was a fun card to put together and Lori has several different variations of this card for sale.  To be honest I own a few ;) so I think I will try to put another one together soon!!  I created this card to give to my daughter for her bridal shower!

Wedding Gift Boxes - JB dt

Today is my turn to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog.   I hope you enjoyed the recent release from Jaded Blossom!!  All these new wedding products are perfectly timed for me as my middle daughter is getting married this summer.  Today's project is a gift box that she will use to house a special "something" (top secret!) for her bridesmaids.  

I used a couple of sentiments from the recently released "She Said Yes" stamp set.  The box is a file from the Silhouette store - #44622.  I used Jaded Blossom's "Card Mat Dies" to cut out the white square I stamped my sentiment on.  To decorate the box more I cut out a small bow using the Jaded Blossom "Bow Dies".

Jaded Blossom May Release Blog Hop

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's May 2018 Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Lee-Ann you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Here is what I made:

I created some "tip envelopes with tags" for my daughter's upcoming wedding.  I thought this would be a perfect way to gift a tip of thanks to several of the people who are doing so much to help make their wedding day special!!  To make these I started out using the SVG Cutting Files "Tip Pockets" set for my base.  I colored, cut and adhered images from the new Jaded Blossom "Wedding Bells" stamp set to the front of my pockets.  I discovered that the Jaded Blossom "Treat Tag Die" worked perfectly to fit the tip pocket!!  I stamped a sentiment from the Jaded Blossom "She Said Yes" stamp set on the tag.  There is plenty of room to add some cash or even a gift card and the couple can write a small note on the back side of the tag.

Here is my project for today - 

I used the "Gable Box Die" along with the "Wedding Banner Dies" and the "She Said Yes" stamp set to create a fun treat box that would be perfect to give to guests at the end of a wedding reception.

Hi there!! Today is my turn to post on the Stamp Anniething Blog and I have a graduation card to share with you - 

I used "Annie - You Did It" for my image and my sentiment.  I colored the gown green as I have a few graduations to celebrate and those are the school colors so I thought it would be fun to personalize my card a bit.  My card also fits into the monthly challenge theme "Use an Arrow on your project".

Jaded Blossom May Release Day 4

Welcome back to Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom May Release!! Today we are showcasing two new stamp sets -

Wood Slices 1 and Wood Slices 2

Here is what I made for today -

I made a set of 3x3 notecards using both the Wood Slices 1 and Wood Slices 2 for my image and sentiment.  I cut out some envelopes using the "Envelope Dies".  I made a set of 4 and they fit perfectly into a crate I made using the new "Crate Die".  Lastly I used some Nuvo drops to embellish a bit.

I made a money envelope!  I have lots of weddings to get ready for and this will come in handy for sure!!  I followed a tutorial on Youtube to create the envelope.  I decorated it using the new "Wedding Banner Dies".  My sentiment is from "Fancy Wedding" stamp set.   I also added a couple of bows to my wedding bell border and cut those out with the "Bow Dies".

For today's project I colored up the image of "Kevin" and cut out with my scan n cut.  I did a bit of paper piecing with his apron and oven mitt.  I also used the new "Chevron Die Pieces" to cut out two coordinating pieces of design paper and adhered them to the side of my top panel.  My sentiment is from an older Cardz TV Stamps set.

Stamp Anniething May Release Day 2 Sneak Peeks

Hi and welcome to our May Release!

Today we are doing sneak peeks of "Stacey - #celebrate" and "Banner Flags" die cuts.

 I used the "Sashiko Stencil" we previewed yesterday to create my background.  I used two different colored distress inks (shaded lilac and spun sugar) on white paper to lay down some color and then went over it again with some Nuvo moonstone glimmer paste.  I wanted my "Stacey" to look like a tap dancer ;)!  that is why she is in a black sparkly outfit.  I used one of the banners from the new "Banner Flags" die cuts and colored and fussy cut it before adhering it to my card. 

Here is another view so you can see how shimmery the background is - I just love this stencil!!

Stamp Anniething's May Release Day 1

Hi and welcome to our May Release!

To create my card I started with a piece of Strathmore Bristol cardstock and used Distress Oxides to create the sunny sky.  I used Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber.  I used the "Tree Stencil" with a variety of Distress Inks to create my forest.   To create the water I used the "Waves Dies"  on a couple of different blue colored pieces of cardstock.  I created the hills behind using the "Land of Oz Dies".   My image is colored with Copics and cut with my Scan n Cut )although I did fussy cut the opening by the fish).
