Sunflower Hello - SAT dt

Hi there!! It's my day to post over on the Stamp Anniething blog and  I am sharing a card I created using "Molly - Sunflower".  

We just went to the pumpkin patch this weekend and there were still tons of sunflowers in the fields there.  They were a little weather worn from some of the rain we have been receiving but still glorious and standing tall.  I left my card without a sentiment so that I can use it for a variety of occasions.  I chose to create visual interest with layers and some sequins and twine.

Happy Halloween - SAT dt

Hi there!!  It's my turn over on the Stamp Anniething Blog and I have a Halloween themed card to share with you for this month's theme challenge.  I used the "Sofia - Viva la Vida" stamp set from the most recent stamp release for my card.   I let the background papers I chose help inspire the colors for my image and then colored with my copic markers.

I love adding purples to my Halloween schemes!  I have 3 grown daughters now and they were never into the scary side of Halloween so I tend to gravitate toward the cutesie side ;  I pulled out a forgotten border punch - the Martha Stewart "drippy goo" punch, remember that one?!  My sentiment is from a retired Craftin Desert Divas stamp set and is meant to look a bit creepy!

I thought it would be fun to turn this image into a tag to go with a face mask.  I colored the face in a green similar to your standard face mask ;)  All my coloring was done with my copic markers.

I colored this sweet image in with my copic markers.  To be honest this is the first time I have tried black hair and I was a bit nervous ;) I definitely need to get a couple more darker markers to add in to the hair color mix but overall I was pretty satisfied with my first attempt!

  I added a die cut fan out of gold cardstock.  The fan is a file from the Silhouette store - #7838.

I colored this cute lil' bee in with my copic markers and sparkled up her wings with my clear Spectrum Noir glitter brush marker.  I added some bling and fun background papers and a sentiment from an older Craftin Desert Divas stamp set.

Hey Foxy! - Die Cuttin Divas Guest DT

Today I am guest designer over on the Die Cuttin Divas Blog.  

The challenge for this week is a sketch - 

Here is what I came up with - 

What a fun sketch to work with!!  Feeling in the fall mood I decided to use some fall themed papers from Doodlebug as my inspiration.  I then went through my collection of Doodlebug Designs cutting files and chose this cute fox - I got my file from the Silhouette store #211355.  My sentiment is from an old My Pink Stampers stamp set.  This is a great sketch to work with papers and files that have been in your stash for awhile now too ;)  I hope you will join in the challenge this week!!  Thanks for stopping by today!!
