Today is my turn to post over on the Stamp Anniething Blog.  

I created this card for a friend to give to her son.  He is also training to be a paramedic like my middle daughter and he just completed his first EMT certification thus the "congratulations" sentiment ;)

I used "Kevin - Have a Blazing Good Day" stamp set for my image.  My sentiment is from "Eloise - congratulations" stamp set.  My card base is from the Silhouette Online Store - #62062.  I added some clear Nuvo drops to make it look like water drops.

Hoppy Easter - JB dt

Hi there!! Today is my turn to post over on the Jaded Blossom blog.  

I cannot believe Easter is less than a week away!!  I am still trying to get ready for it!  The same day also happens to be my youngest daughter's 16th birthday so I have a double celebration to get ready for!!  I created a few treat boxes for Easter goodies - candy, gift cards, small trinkets would easily fit into these boxes.  

I used a file from the Silhouette store for my box base which you can find HERE.   The rest I created using a variety of JB goodies -

Jaded Blossom March Release Day 5

Today is Day 5 (and the last day) of our sneak peeks for the Jaded Blossom March Release.  Today we are showcasing a new stamp set - "Birthday Luggage Tag 2".

I created a little gift tag and envelope duo for today's project.  I embossed a sentiment from the new "Birthday Luggage Tag 2" stamp set in white onto some Bristol smooth paper.  I did a bit of ink oxide blending over the top to make the sentiment pop out.  I used another sentiment from the same stamp set on the paper bag enclosure.

Happy Easter Shaker Card - SAT dt

Hi there!!  Today is my turn to post over on the Stamp Anniething Blog and I have some inspiration for you for our new theme week challenge - "Make a Shaker".  I decided to make a shaker card for Easter.

I used "Jemma - Happy Easter" for my image and colored her in with my copic markers.  I created my shaker opening using the Jaded Blossom Scallop Circle Dies and Jaded Blossom Stitched Circle Dies.  I added the cute bunny border using the Jaded Blossom Spring Banner Dies.

Jaded Blossom March Release Day 4

Welcome back to Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom March Release.  

Today we are doing sneak peeks for another new stamp set - "Nom Nom". 

I decided to create a tag for today's project.  I used a sentiment from the "Nom Nom" stamp set and created my own banner to put it on by trimming my paper down and snipping the ends into flags.  I also used the following Jaded Blossom products today -

I used the several of the balloon dies from the new "Balloon Dies".  I put a few faces on my balloons using the new "Sweet Faces" stamp set and then colored them in with Prisma colored pencils.  The sentiment is from the other stamp set being revealed today - "So Many Birthdays 4".

For today's project I created an easel card.  I used a few of the images from the "Garden Grow die cuts" along with the "Hello" die cut.  My sentiment is from a Cardz TV Stamps set.  I am loving these packages of die cuts to color in!!  I do end up fussy cutting them so that the border is similar to the edge on my girl from my Scan n Cut.  My grass layer on the front of my card was die cut using the "Land of Oz" die cuts.

Stamp Anniething March Release Day 2

Hi and welcome to our March Release!

Spring is right around the corner and so our release has a great new line of some fun spring stamps!

After stamping my images with Copic friendly ink and coloring in with my Copic markers I cut them out using my Scan n Cut.  I then set out to create my card base.  I used some gingham paper from Lawn Fawn and cut it out with Jaded Blossom's "Card Mat Dies" for my background layer.  I cut out the clouds, ground and grass with the Stamp Anniething "Land of Oz Dies".  The sentiment is from the new stamp set.

Stamp Anniething March Release Day 1

Hi and welcome to our March Release!

Spring is right around the corner and so our release has a great new line of some fun spring stamps!

I started off creating my card by working on the background first.  I used two different colors of distress oxide inks - twisted citron and lucky clover on a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock.  I used the twisted citron first and then used the lucky clover with the new Squiggle Wiggle Stencil and afterwards I die cut this layer out with Jaded Blossom's "Card Mat Dies".  I colored my images in using my Copic markers.  I cut out my images using my Scan n Cut.  I fussy cut the hand holding the cookie along with the medal sash and then glued them onto my image.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment from "Tommy - Thanks So Much".  Lastly I die cut the word "thanks" using the new "Thanks Die" and glued it above the sentiment and image.  I finished off my card with a few enamel dots.
