I think by now most of you have heard that Emma from My Creative Time has openings for her first official design team. I really appreciate Emma and her blog because all of her great video tutorials on the gypsy helped me tremendously when I first got mine. I would sit watching her tutorials with my gypsy and follow along learning all the tricks to master that girl, so thanks Emma for taking the time to make those great videos!! Emma also has a great line of stamps and dies too and because of her I now own Peachy Keen stamp sets.
The card I made is one I designed to give to my youngest daughter's soccer coaches. Tomorrow is our last game and we are our last playoff!! So far we are undefeated in their league:-) We have the best coaches and they invest so much into our girls. We chipped in and ordered them a T-shirt with a picture of the team on front. I offered to make the cards.
I used an svg file for the card front and the soccer ball. The grass is from Plantin Schoolbook. As you can tell from the bottom picture, this is a tent style A2 sized card.
***If you haven't visited Emma's blog lately I encourage you to take a peek at all the talented bloggers who are joining me in pursuing a spot on Emma's design team. There is SO much talent and I am grateful for my fellow bloggers who share their talents freely and consistently inspire me to grow in my own creativity!! Good luck to all of you!!***
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great rest of your weekend!!

DtsArt Design Team Day - candy holders
This week the design team got to work with a candy holder svg file. This is a perfect project for all of the upcoming holidays and very simple to make. You will have fun seeing how each of us design team girls added our own little touch to this project. I am always inspired by my colleagues at DtsArt and I hope you will be too:-)
The first box will hold several pieces of candy or even a small cookie would work too. I chose to make a belly band and decorated it with a rosette.
The second box would work great with Ghiradelli chocolate squares but I didn't have any so I used the second best thing - Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Oh do I love those:-) I added some perfect pears around the edge and a couple of roses and voila! a pretty package with a yummy treat -
Make sure you head on over to Dtsart blog to see what the rest of the design team did with these files. Also check out DtsArt.com to purchase them for yourself!!

Inking It Up Crazy Design Team - Halloween Treats
I made this cute shoe to resemble a witch's shoe. It will hold a small bag of goodies on the inside of it. I did a little inking along the edges with my black stamp pad. Head on over to Kassidy's blog to see what the rest of the design team created for their halloween treats:-)
This great purple paper was from a Studio G pack I got at Walmart. I am also going to enter this into the following challenges -
My Craft Spot - 3D halloween
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - challenge #82, create a project with purple and a bug or monster on it
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

DtsArt's Design Team - Memo Notebox Holder SVG
It's time for another project featuring an original SVG from Dardi at DtsArt. This week's project is a memo notebox holder. I love this and what a great gift idea!! In fact the disney one I made is going to our school secretary who loves anything Disney. It is a quick and easy project too. Along with the notebox holder is a template to cut your own paper. You could use a notepad from the store too. The options are endless as you will see at DtsArt blog, our design team was so creative in their use of this little box:-)
Don't forget to stop by DtsArt blog to check out the rest of the design team's projects and there may even be some blog candy:-)

BOO!!
I made a ghost shaped card using the cut from Smiley Cards. I absolutely love that cartridge:-) I chose not to weld the front and back together. Instead I scored the back card about an inch down from the top and added adhesive in that top inch. I did add the word "boo" from Simply Charmed and welded the shadow of the word using my gypsy. I only welded it to the front side of the card. I am going to enter this in the weekly challenge over at My Craft Spot.

Post It Note Holder - Dtsart Design Team Project
This is a great svg file to create Post It Note holders. It makes this craft so quick and easy that I enlisted my 9 year old daughter to help me. I am planning on making these as Christmas gifts for my co-workers at the dance studio. I was able to layout 3 templates on my mat. I found the mini gel pens at Staples for $5 a 12 pack. Check out DtsArt for the cut file and DtsArt blog to see how the rest of the design team created their Post It Note holders.
